Paige Spiranac made a near-prophetic prediction of golf’s major winners this year, with only J.J. Spaun’s stunning U.S. Open victory costing the superstar influencer a perfect record.

Former professional golfer Spiranac boldly claimed in February that Rory McIlroy would win the Masters before Scottie Scheffler would flex his muscles and sweep the remaining three majors. “He’s going to get it done. Every year, I say Rory’s gonna win the Masters, and this is the year,” she told the Irish Star on Radio Row before the Super Bowl. “[It’s going to be] Rory, Scottie, Scottie, Scottie.”

The first part of Spiranac’s prediction came true in April when McIlroy finally exorcised his demons at Augusta National and ended a 10-year drought to get his hands on the Green Jacket and win his fifth major championship. McIlroy’s career-defining year continued on Sunday with his come-from-behind triumph at the Irish Open.

“One of the most exciting Masters. Wow! Congratulations Rory! Thank you for making today one of the most electric rounds of golf I’ve ever seen,” Spiranac posted on X in the immediate aftermath of McIlroy’s win.

Scheffler had made an underwhelming start to the campaign by his incredibly high standards, with a freak injury suffered on Christmas Day contributing to his lack of sharpness.

But he appeared galvanized by McIlroy’s dramatic win at The Masters, and the world No. 1 responded in style by winning the PGA Championship at Quail Hollow in May. The Texan cruised to victory by five shots in North Carolina, winning his third major.

“Congratulations Scottie!” Spiranac posted on X. “Such a likable guy with such a likable family. Happy to see him get it done!”

The only miscalculation in Spiranac’s bracket was the U.S. Open in June at Oakmont, where the brutal conditions proved to be a leveler and the elite of Scheffler, McIlroy, and company fell back into the pack.

Grim weather in the final round contributed to a thrilling conclusion in Pennsylvania, with Spaun — a journeyman for much of his career before a breakout 2025 — emerging from the pack to edge Bob MacIntyre and get his hands on his first major title.

“Wow, what an incredible US Open! Congratulations JJ! What a finish,” Sprianac told her social media followers.

Few saw Spaun’s victory at Oakmont coming, but Spirinac was bang on the money again with her pick for July’s Open Championship. Scheffler seized control of the tournament at Royal Portrush in Northern Ireland in the second round, and he never let go.

The 29-year-old was impenetrable, coasting to a four-shot victory on the Dunluce links, adding the Claret Jug to his enviable collection of prizes.

So if you are looking for some betting tips ahead of the 2026 major season, look no further than Spiranac, it seems.
