That was intense. What was key, especially in that second half, the way you guys pushed? Uh, I don’t actually know. I think um we started the game so bad. Uh, you know, it was a kickoff. Just little stuff, you know, we lose the first header, then concede a throw, and then a corner, then another corner, I think. So, we started it bad and the first half was terrible. You know, it was probably I think the lads would say the same. You know, it’s probably as bad as we’ve easily the worst we’ve played this season. So we come in, you know, had a word with each other, regroup and um yeah, you know, I think the the two subs that come on, you know, completely change the game for us as well. Give us a different way of playing, you know, like runs in behind and stuff like this. So yeah, I think the second half I thought were brilliant, you know, so difficult to play against this team. There’s so many games unbeaten at the moment. So yeah, a good win in the end. Good win and a good goal for you. Before the match, you were talking to the boys saying that you wanted to shoot more, that you had goals in you. You must be pleased. How does it feel? Yeah. Well, I I had two shots, didn’t I? Um I had two proper shots. I don’t know if you can count the goal as a shot. I’m not sure. Uh but yeah, you know, I says that I want to try and get into them positions more. And the manager actually said it to me, you know, at halftime. He says, “Try and get in at the back post.” And um I was there and and the goal comes from that. So, uh I have the manager, you know, to thank for that as well. your first go for Everton. How does it feel in a personal level, especially considering how well you’ve been doing since you got here? Yeah. No, it’s brilliant. Uh it’s so nice, you know, to score here. And and do you know what to imagine? Like um the last few games when we’ve been here, we’ve been drawing and I keep saying to myself in like the 85th minute like, “Come on, Jack, come try and score. Come on. Imagine if you scored.” Now, I done it against Villa. I done it against West Ham and I didn’t score. So today I actually said the same thing again and uh I scored and then yeah I ran to my to where my mom and dad were. So uh yeah it was nice but that goal goes to all the Evertonians that have made me so welcome here. And we you you were talking about competition in the English squad as well. Goals definitely help because competition they’re scoring goals as well. So so how much of a difference do you think that can make? Yeah, of course that’s what you want to do. you know, as a winger. I have one goal now and four assists in the Premier League this season. So, um, that’s what I want to do, you know, and like I says, it was difficult, you know, to do that today against such a good team. They have unbelievable players. Um, I think Adam Walton today, I can see the man of the match award there. I think that’s coming to me, but I think it should have gone to Adam Walton because in my opinion, he was the best player on the pitch today. So, that’s very kind of you, but it is going to you Jack. So, well done. Cheers. Third one now. So this season, so we take it. Thank you. Thank you, John. Cheers.

  1. Luv you Jack, from a 50-year-old Evertonian who lives in Cambodia, who used to travel from Portsmouth to Liverpool on a Saturday to watch BIG DUNC – You keep doing this, you'll be inspiring young Evertonians to do the same GOD BLESS you and your family – stick with us m8, we'll make sure you and your family will be set for life

  2. Beto's powerful header created the pinball effect that made Grealish's positioning pay off. Hope they keep it up.

  3. How can anyone not warm to him? It’s like watching a kid talking about his first ever goal! He just loves the game of football and he is just so appreciative of where he is and what a privileged position he has. He is of those players I would have loved at Arsenal. Like a Zola, or a Beardsley.

  4. I didn't appreciate just how good a player Jack Grealish is until watching him every game. Off the ball, one of the most intelligent/natural players I have ever seen. Takes three players to stop him and creates space for everyone else to progress and at times regain shape. He has taken Everton from a bottom half team to a team that will get European football. We have to sign him permanently. This guy's influence is almost immeasurable. Every other players and team numbers will increase due to this players influence. Good luck and God bless Jack Grealish💙

  5. It is simple, never give JG orders to play a certain way, this is why Pep never got the best out of him. Put him on the pitch and say go play football jack and enjoy yourself. Love the lad and always will no matter who he plays for but it is a travesty he is not in the England team, it is a no brainer he should be there.

  6. I'm Arsenal, but really, REALLY like Jack. Incredible player, and comes across as such a likeable, friendly guy as a bonus. Seems he's getting back his stride and confidence again at Everton.

Best of luck to him. 👍

  7. i'm certain i remember a time where everyone hated him for no reason during his early aston villa days, it's funny how everyone now loves him

  8. It’s not a fluke and it’s not a mystery…if you let the lad play with freedom he will create. Shackle him to a system and it limits him

  9. Said it on my pre season prediction video, (go watch it if you’re still missing out!) Jack and David were gonna bring some magic to the blue Merseyside. VINDICATION! Genuinely happy to see him and Everton balance out again.

  10. Why do both Manchester teams just kill players energy. Everyone who’s leaving city and United look so happy 😂

  11. As a Villa fan it’s lovely to see the Jack that every proper football fan loves to see. So glad he’s enjoying his football again at a great club.

  12. Love Jackie 🩵🦈🩵 gutted his out on loan … Him and Pep ain't seeing eye to eye 😞
    Crack on lad 💪🏾💪🏾

  13. If he loves Everton, he will take a salary cut and stay beyond his loan.
Lets hope Jack bucks the trend, and is prepared to earn less to become our talisman.
