I can’t believe it. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Andy, today is the day. The day you become my husband, which means I get to love you for the rest of my life. And I couldn’t be more excited. Who would have thought the two lifeguards who met 10 years ago would be standing here today surrounded by our family and friends, many of which were front and center center to the start of our love story. From the very beginning, it was obvious Andy didn’t just love Emily. He saw her, all of her. Her fire, her strengths, her quirks, her insane 5-year plan. And instead of being overwhelmed, he leaned in with a calm, good-natured kindness that is honestly rare to find. Tik Tok. Emily Elizabeth Blackloss. Today is the day I get to marry my best friend, my partner in crime, my skydiving buddy, the best dog mom, and the woman who will one day be the mother of my children. I feel incredibly lucky and humbled to stand here beside you. They say that relationships are difficult and that love is hard. But I can’t relate to that. From the very beginning, our goals and visions aligned. We knew we wanted the same things. And I knew I wanted you. Together, they balanced each other in the most beautiful way. One brings the energy, the other brings the calm. I’ll let you decide who is who. Watching them grow together has been one of the greatest joys of my life. Now, loving you is easy. Just look around at all these people here who adore you and here to celebrate us and our love. You’re fiercely loyal, the most generous and kind person I know, and quite literally the definition of someone who would give the shirt off his back. Sometimes I lose you in a crowd because you’ve held the door open for an awkwardly long period of time, but that’s just who you are. all day. I’ve had the ultimate privilege though of falling in love with you. It has felt like a warm hug, like coming home after a long day to a home-cooked meal. Probably a tuna poke bowl. If you know, you know. It’s coming home to a good laugh and a dance around the kitchen on days when all you want to do is cry. Our love is the peace and quiet in a sometimes chaotic, loud world. and I continue to fall more and more in love with you every single day. Love is not something that just happens. It’s a choice. And choosing you every day has been the best decision of my life. I didn’t fall into love with you. I walked into it with you hand in hand in front of our family and friends. I make these promises to you. I promise to encourage and inspire you. I promise to laugh with you even when life feels tough. I promise to comfort you when you’re down and always be your safe place. I promise to never give up on us no matter what life throws our way. I promise to massage your feet when your bunion acts up and even when it doesn’t. I promise to continue giving you all the good grapes and oranges while I eat all the mushy ones. And most importantly, I promise to love you unconditionally with all of my heart forever. This is my vow to you, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life keeping it. I love you always, and I can’t wait to call you my wife. Andy, I vow to love you to the end of my days, to grow with you and not apart. To make my accomplishes accomplishments ours, and your challenge is mine. I vow to choose you every day a million times over. [Music] I promise to walk with you hand in hand through life as your biggest fan, your shoulder to lean on and your best friend. I promise to join your laughter with my own. And when you can’t look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark. Today we celebrate our wedding. But what excites me most is building a marriage with my best friend and seeing what the future has in store for us. I know that if we’re lucky enough to start a family one day, you’ll be the best father to our children. And I know that together we can overcome anything life throws at us.
