Another major champion, Yoju Kim. And she’s got a putt to get to 19 under. We know her putter cooperate. She’s one of the best in the world. And now after a pit shot, this is now Yoju Kim trying to save par. Excellent par save that. And back at the 10th, Hoju Kim one back hit. Talk about another straight ball hitter just like our playing partner today, Allison Corpus. Just a slight draw or slight fade, excuse me. Two fantastic shots in on that difficult 10th, but never passed. Hyoju Kim has a chance to catch her here at 10. You mentioned Hyoju her cutting power. This is actually a new putter that she put in the bag this week. Boy, is it working well. She seems a little further back. Yoju Kim now for her birdie. Left right in this. Her ball rolls in with such confident pace. We’ve seen a couple nice putts. Birdie saw the nice chip from her earlier. Second shot for Yoju Kim at the 12th. water right location is on the right side of the green today. Oh my goodness. Wow. Yoju Kim in the water in two. Great putter. Great pitcher of the ball. Here’s her fourth. [Music] [Applause] Fourth and all over this golf course. It feels like worse than a bogey, doesn’t it? What a huge mistake there. It was a fabulous pit shot to try and save her par slower. Goes about her business just at a slower um pace. Here we go. And that was a par save for Yoju Kim to keep her at 20 under. Titan hasn’t won a major. She’s contended in a couple. Yoju Kim won as a teenager back in Eden 2014. Of course, corpus that US women’s open [Applause] now Yoju Kim pulls 150 yards, plays about four yards downhill. Yoju might have gotten a touch of a read off of Allison Corpus’s chip shot. This for birdie and a solo lead. And that looked good for a very long time. So settle for par as they head to the short par 416th. [Applause] [Music] [Applause] finally one drops and after that miscue at the 12th when she hit her second of the par five in the water and dropped a shot back up to the 17th and this now Yu Kim good look at that hole location on the right side of the green that bounces front left will kick up and to the right just like that still in almost the exact same place going to have almost the exact same results how about those two shots It’s right there. She will move on to the short par 4 16th and we will move up to the 17. This for Eagle now and Yu Kim has a chance to get to 23 under similar line to what we saw Takun moments ago. It just hung out on the right as well. Same thing there. That is enough though to take the solo lead at 22 under. Well, you’ve got two of the straightest hitters in all of golf playing in the final pair. Looking for a fairway hit here. Hoju Kim up one. Not the longest hitter. So, having to skirt in between those two bunkers, but gets a huge bounce there. [Applause] Every putt she’s hit today looks like has had a chance to go in. Get in there. Good shot. Good shot. And she has set the target at 22 underpar. Lily Vu with a chance with a brilliant round of 64 for the major champion in this loaded starstudded field in 2018. And here we go. Little bit of breeze still helping slightly right to left teeing up a little on the right side of the tea box here. Well, she hit that really nice. Got a lot of height on that one, Morgan. And easily carried the bunker. I think that was not exactly where she was aimed on the right. Beautiful tempo to that swing. It advantage here. A someday she won’t soon forget. Hoju Kim shoots 64 to force a playoff and wins it with a birdie on the first extra hole. She’s the winner of the Ford Championship presented by Wild Horse Pass, the seventh career title. What a dream Sunday for Hyoju. Overcoming that miscue on the bogey on the 12th hole. Staying tough till the very end. How great is this? [Applause] [Music] ever left the center of the hole. Just nerves of steel right there. One of the steadiest performers of the last decade has dropped to 30th in the Rolex rankings. Her lowest position in the last 5 years. But not for long. Come tomorrow morning when those new Rolex rankings are released.
