FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — Furry friends gathered for a fundraiser in Fresno County today.
The sixth annual Animal Compassion Team golf tournament was held at the Belmont Country Club.
More than 100 golfers tee’d up for a good cause.
Many of the participants have taken part every single year.
The money raised helps the no-kill shelter care for dogs and cats looking for forever homes.
The fundraising goal was $30,000, but organizers estimated that they got even more than that thanks to extra donations.
