Real question: How does hitting a 2 iron from a tee set that high affect the spin of the ball compared to a driver? Since there really isn’t any compression.

Do it off the deck
I usually shoot mid 80's to 90's and I actually carry a 2 iron. I tend to be more accurate with it than my driver. Its a fun club to hit once you get comfortable with it.
