Donald Trump reveals what his ‘dream’ is in heartwarming moment with granddaughter Kai

Is there a dream that you’re still trying to chase or have you reached all your dreams? You were asking questions like you’re a television cop. I thought I was just going to come out and play a round of golf with you. I’m I’m I’m I want to You’re asking questions like I’m like I’m on television. Yeah. No, look, you become president. That’s a dream, right? Yeah. Can’t you I don’t know. Now what you can No, you dream now you want to be a great president. Now you’re president. Now your dream is to be great president. [Music] [Music] [Music] Let’s look at the big story today internationally. It’s one massive yarn and and that is the the handing over finally, thank goodness, of the the hostages, including the 20 that remain alive. This is going to be these images quite extraordinary. They we could see this in as little as 10 to 15 minutes from now. We’re told anytime from from midday our time. Richo. Yeah, it’s a it’s a wonderful thing for uh all of those families. Uh you can imagine uh how they’ve been over the last few years. Uh you’d be worried sick on a sort of permanent basis. Uh so this is a a real breakthrough. And you know, I again I’ve got to give it to Trump. He’s he’s done well on these things. Well, yes indeed. and uh the the foreign minister Penny Wong. I know some have been critical including Josh Friedenberg and and today Peter McGoran on this program, others in the coalition slamming her for suggesting Australia played any role in providing the pressure uh to get this outcome. What is I think unarguable or, you know, not really contested is the fact that Donald Trump did put the heat on both sides, both Arab nations to step up, but also the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. There’s no doubt about that. And that’s not an easy thing to do. Uh he’s a tough guy, Netanyahu, a warrior, a general, uh somebody who’s spent his life fighting. Uh, and uh, I think I think you you’ve got to say Trump’s done really well on this. I’m not a fan of Trump’s, but I’ve got to give it I’ve got to do me lid had I had one. Um, because I think he’s been really really successful here. Do how do you think that plays out in terms of uh, the fact that he just hasn’t followed the diplomatic rule book 101? He throws that out, doesn’t he? Well, he doesn’t follow any rule book. He never has. Um he uh he’s a shoot from the hip guy. Uh he doesn’t necessarily prepare uh you know religiously and slowly and deliberately. He just does things and uh it’s amazing though. He gets he gets things done. I’ve I’ve got to give it to him. I think this we know what’s happening at the moment is a real triumph for him. Yeah. And he’s going to be traveling to Israel for uh to to to mark that triumph. Rich show, thank you. US President Donald Trump has revealed what “dream” he is still trying to chase during a private golf session with his granddaughter Kai.

In the 18-year-old’s recent “1 on 1 with Kai” series, she discussed life, politics and sports with her grandpa as they played a game of best ball.

During the episode, one question in particular stood out after Kai asked her grandpa what “dream” he was still chasing.

President Trump joked that Kai was asking questions like a “television company” before explaining that his dream was to be president.

Trump added that though he achieved his dream of becoming president, he now wants to be a “great president”.
Kai kindly responded, saying, “I think you’re doing a pretty good job”, as the two continued their round of golf.
