Watch Granddaughter Kai Play Golf With ‘Grandpa’ Trump in RARE Glimpse of President’s Family
How much do you like golf? I love golf, you know. I mean, I’ve been playing golf since I was 2 years old pretty much or started when I was 2 years old. And now it’s become a huge part of my life. We used to have contests to the pin, right? Yes. Always. And And you and you beat me. We always had good contests, right? Even as a young girl, I knew you’re going to be a great golfer. To kick off her new YouTube vlog series, Oneon-One with Kai, Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, gave a rare glimpse of the pair’s close bond by filming their private golf session. In the video, which has already garnered almost 1.7 million views, the golf duo discussed life, politics, and sports while they played a game of best ball at the president’s golf course, Trump International, in Washington, DC. Kai wrote on Instagram that the video titled Playing Golf with President Donald Trump, my grandpa, was her favorite video I have filmed so far and holds a lot of meaning to me. And YouTube viewers also shared their affinity for the light-hearted video. It’s so cool to see the president as just grandpa here. Trump’s respect for her as well as their friendship is quite humanizing. Kai, this was a great use of your platform. Politics aside, you helped humanize a historical person that’s unreachable by most. Well done. Trump, who sported a MAGA hat, was complimentary of Kai swing as he drove his presidential golf cart during the 1-hour session. That’s That’s big length, you know. That’s big length, honey. It’s good. All while Kai, the 18-year-old who’s heading to University of Miami next year, peppered the president with questions. Is there a dream that you’re still trying to chase? Or have you reached all your dreams? You were asking questions like you’re a television. Come. I thought I was just going to come out and play a round of golf with you. I’m I’m I’m I want to You’re asking questions like I’m like I’m on television. Yeah. No, look, you become president. That’s a dream, right? Yeah. Can’t you I don’t Now what you can No, you dream now you want to be a great president. Now you’re president. Now your dream is to be a great president. I think you’re doing a pretty good job. Trump even gave an update on his youngest son, Baron’s progress at New York University, shortly before the first son started his sophomore year at a satellite campus in Washington DC. How’s Baron doing at NYU? He’s doing good. He’s a good boy. He loves you. He said say hello to Kai, Dad. I said Baron, why don’t you come out and watch? Yeah, he said that you know he’s so cute. Do they start school again? Yeah, he starts on Tuesday. Very nice. He’s a good boy. He is. At one point in the video, Kai even pointed out her grandfather’s vast security detail on the course after several notable attempts on the president’s life. The security is all down the line. It’s smart. Lot of lots. You You had too many close calls. Let’s go over here. I had some close calls. That’s true. Kai has accumulated a massive social media following, including 3.4 million Tik Tok followers, 2.4 million on Instagram, and 899,000 followers on X. She also regularly posts on her YouTube channel, which has garnered almost 1.3 million subscribers. Kai is the president’s eldest grandchild and the daughter of his son, Donald Trump Jr., and ex-wife, Vanessa Trump. The post confirmed in March that Vanessa is dating golf legend Tiger Woods. Kai has also used the White House as the backdrop to launch her own merch and to also get a couple swings in on the White House’s putting green. When they aren’t hitting the green for themselves, the president and his granddaughter have also been spotted watching the game. Like last month when the pair attended the Ryder Cup in Farmingdale, New York.
