Thanks for the support’

Michael Thor Bujornson started when he was playing, he didn’t have any thumbs on the shafts. You see, see there’s no thumbs on there. 10fingered, no thumbs. He eventually went to using the thumbs on it. Look at that. There’s not a thumb on there. He eventually went to using the thumbs and that was what was comfortable for him, the 10 finger. He couldn’t use the interlock. It didn’t feel good. Um the overlap didn’t feel good as well. So, his dad just had him, you know, with the basic 10finger baseball grip. But he learned to pound the ball, okay? He learned to rip it as far as he can, work on his speed when he was younger to help him create speed in his golf swing. He makes a big wide shoulder turn. You’ll see at the end I have a nice um breakdown of his golf swing, but he he learned to pound the ball. He had great coaching when he was younger. And if you want to hit the ball further, you got to try to hit it harder, but you got to stay in balance. You got to do the right things. You do have to have a solid grip. Look at that. And you’ll notice his swing is very like Lexi Thompson and and you’ll see that coming up at the end here. So, you don’t want to miss that part. Just try to pound it. Do the best you can. Stay in balance and and be yourself. You know, we’re not all going to, you know, like Donald Pal used to say, swing your swing, right? Don’t don’t try to force yourself into anyone else’s swings. If you need a 10 finger grip, use it. If you need to overlap, use it. Use what’s comfortable. That’s what’s very important. Like I said, when he was younger, look at that swing. He tried to pound it and and find it. Obviously, he’s in balance. Look at that. Standing nice and balanced. You know what I mean? So, that’s very important to do when you’re learning this game or even as you’ve been playing, you want to hit it further because fur you shorten the course, it’s a lot easier to hit wedges in than seven irons. And also get that ball teed up high just like Michael did there. So, if you use a 10-finger grip, fine. But, you know, find a good golf coach like myself to get golf lessons with. But, you know, we’re going to take a look at his swing here. And you’re going to notice that when he takes the club back, it’s going to be hand club outside the hands, which is nice. It’s going to be a little steep here as he goes back. But coming down, you’re going to notice that he’s going to have that club on perfect plane. You know what I mean? So, his arms are hanging straight down, which I love. Great potter. Doesn’t have too much knee bend. He’s not rounded. And that’s super important, guys. That’s why you got to copy these guys. This is what they do. Look at that. Not a lot of knee bend. Love his setup. Arms hanging straight down. Absolutely wonderful. Wonderful golf swing. So, you want to be the best, you got to copy the best, too. You know, then you can beat the best once you start copying. Look at that club outside the hands. Good extension with his arms. His right elbow staying straight as long as he can. Huge shoulder turn. Now, you’ll notice that the um the club shaft isn’t in line with the path line, but that’s okay. Going back, cuz he said he likes to keep the club on the path as long as possible. But coming down, you’re going to see a a huge difference. You’re going to see him squatting in a huge hip turn. He’s going to start firing those hips, my friend. And that’s where your power source, just like a baseball pitcher or throwing a ball, you got to use those hips. But look at that. Perfect position. Elbows lined up nice. He’s got a bow left wrist. doesn’t match the club face, but it’s pretty damn close. Knee knee flexion and that left knee. His right leg is bent a little bit, but he definitely added flexion on that left knee. Not lift in the heel, which a lot of people like to see, but I don’t think he needs it. Not a lot of huge hip turn either, but a huge shoulder turn. Now, as he starts down, wh that was a little quick. We’ll do that again. As he starts down, watch this. He’s going to do the little squat, but watch those hips go. See the knees? the widening there. Very nice. And that club’s dropping down right on plane, guys. He’s going to hit the ball from the inside. He’s going to be hitting up on it. Huge hip turn. Watch those hips turn. We’re going to do a little hoola dance here. You’re going to see that he’s starting the down swing with his lower body, creating the lag, creating that force behind it, not throwing the club head at it, really rotating. There is a little stall there. And you’re going to see Allah Lexi Thompson. Look at that. Straightening that leg out. Watch my other video on Lexi Thompson’s golf swing. Very similar to Lexi extending those arm out. So, he’s stalling that body and he’s going up. Okay, those hips have stopped turning. He’s straightening out. Not quite early extension, but but kind of, you know what I mean? Look at that. Right up to a nice balance finish, guys. So, that’s something you want to copy. You know, copy that setup. Use that lower body. Find a great golf instructor like myself to help you play better golf. Please like, subscribe. I appreciate you watching. Check out all my other videos.
