These are two of the best golf shoes of 2025. These are from Painter, the 87 SC and the Matchday SC. The difference is the spikes. The 87 has the spikes. Match day is spikeless. As you can see, they look almost identical. Just a very clean look. You can wear it with anything. But the big story with Painter is always the performance. Both of these have carbon fiber plates in the sole, which is going to give you a little more energy return while still being really comfortable. They’re both outstanding to wear out of the box. I’ve worn both of these for walking rounds of 18 without any break-in period. I’ve worn them for 36 a day. They feel great after the day is over. But again, the traction and the sole is really the star of the show. They have the best spikeless sole that I’ve ever used, but it’s not quite the same as the spiked version. This is as much traction as you’re going to get out of anything. They’re very stable. So, if you want a high performance golf shoe, also waterproof, looks great, check out the newest from Painter.
