Yeah, I mean, we tried to set the course up uh to help our team. Obviously, it wasn’t the right decision. Um, you know, I think anytime you’re the leader of a team or you’re the captain or the coach or whatever. We talked about this last night, you have to take you’re going to get the accolades and you need to take the blame for when things don’t go well. And um I definitely made a mistake on the course setup. Um I should have listened a little bit more to my intuition and I I just I just we for whatever reason that wasn’t the right right way to set the course up. We didn’t expect the greens to be this soft. They they were as soft as I’ve ever seen greens without it raining. And then, you know, especially here, um you know, it can get pretty firm and they just they never firmed up.

My personal opinion is that he isn’t to blame. In fact, no one is. The first two days didn’t go well. Sure, there’s an argument that he could have made some better pairing choices, but that may not have changed much. I mean come on, he put Bryson and Scottie together and they still lost. I think the fact that the US battled back on day 3 is absolutely incredible and speaks volumes more than the final outcome does. They all made us proud with their resiliency and their determination. They have nothing to regret. Well done, boys.
OMG! Course setup?
Keegan is taking responsibility. There are so many people involved in the course set up. The Americans missed to many putts.
Europe played better. Europe seemed more prepared for the team competition. My feeling is that the players needed to be more focused on the play and less on the fans. Let the security handle the fans. Tell the stewards and play on.
Course setup had NOTHING to do with the Americans’ poor showing the first two days….and their great performance on Sunday proves that!!!!!!!!
The Europeans simply played GREAT the first two days and the Americans played GREAT on the final day!!! And the Europeans came out on top.
Sometimes you just have to tip your cap to your competition for a job well done…..and NOT fall into the trap of trying to find fault with finishing second.
In my opinion, the inflated hype and importance levied upon the Ryder Cup is the problem!!! It’s just not that important!!! It’s basically an exhibition competition that brings most of the greatest payers together for a fun team competition!!!!! The radically inflated importance placed on it is what is ruining it!!!!!
Why not celebrate the competition and the players for putting on such a great show?????!!!!! Keep everything POSITIVE!!!!!

Credit to the Euros for being ready to win, while we were ready to show off our cool outfits and merch.
It's an institutional failure all around, not just course setup, pairings, chemistry, poor putting / chipping, new captain every cycle, players playing for team every year (Ryder & Presidential), messaging expectations for fan behavior etc. Europe knows something that we don't know or won't acknowledge.

I thought traditionally Americans set the course up with little rough and we set them up with heavy rough according to what skill set one thinks it has over the other they did exactly that so not sure what he regrets.
