Okay, we’re streaming. What’s going on, guys? Welcome back to the channel. Welcome back to the simulator. Turbo Talon Golf here. Um, I got Flying Fat Kid. We’re going to try and break a course record from the tips at a course called Valley View Country Club up in Leighton, Utah. Uh, it’s one of my home home courses. The the TE’s are 7100 yards, but as you guys already know, Flying Fat Kid averages about 300 yard drive. So, we’ll see if we can we’ll see if we can keep the irons and the fairway woods and the putting and chipping under control and enjoy the show. Yep. Five foot gimmies, normal greens, normal fairways. Oh, look at this. Little bit of elevation, too, right? Yeah. The first hole goes downhill over a pond. It’s pretty great. like this. It looks exactly like the course, dude. Really? Yep. It’s 34 yards downhill. All right. Are you in? I’m in. You’re in. Okay. We’re going to try to pick up where we left off. Oh, carry the pawn. That’s just fine, sir. I love that. My happy ass is just going to try to get one down the fairway. Okay. Hey, why don’t you, if I have one in play, why don’t you try a draw? really come from the inside and swing out. So, you’re you’re thinking low to high on it. Okay. Nope. That’s That’s how bad my over the top is, dude. That was still crushed. I mean, almost 150 ball speed. That’s crazy. Out of the rough. It’s a little valley. Are the greens pretty safe here? Nothing crazy. This green, none of them are none of them are very good, dude. I’ll tell you. I’ll tell you right now. We want to be near the as near the pin as we can. Or just put it in the hole, why don’t you course record attempts to get my juices flowing? Yeah, dude. When I’m like playing for money or doing something like this. All right. So, when you guys do your money matches, do you do you like pay into like a group fund or h how does that work? We I we declare the dollar value per hole. Okay. Like the last money match I played was $10 a hole. Okay. And it was and it was match play with a handicap cuz Keith is Keith’s a like low double digit handicap. So I’d never be able to beat him on my own. Okay. And then at the end when we’re rolling off of 18, somebody owes somebody money or we break even. And so is it like PayPal, Venmo? He Venmo me or I give me cash, I give him cash. Whatever. Whatever you got in your wallet. Where were you at? I was there, but I don’t I don’t think you need to be there. I was also a touch hard. Yeah. Yeah. I I like that. But if you’re playing with someone who’s not willing to play handicap, then it it’s obviously never happening, right? Good putt. One under for the good guys. Okay. The guy I was going to play with on Thursday or Friday or whenever it was, I just said, “Hey, can you do Venmo?” And he said, “Yep, Venmo’s fine with me.” He was up in North Dakota. That’s cool. And I’ve been wanting to do these. What are they? What are they? Blitzes or whatever. Yeah. I want to start playing for some money on here cuz it’s not that these events aren’t fun, but Oh, it’s it’s always better for money. Like the fact that I’m even thinking about playing anybody for money this young in my career is pretty cool. Yeah, 100%. Okay. I don’t think that’s going to cut the dog leg. I’ve never played from the tips on this course in real life. I think we play white te’s. So, I was telling somebody I was like, I don’t know why people like to play from the tips. You get no extra prizes or nothing from there. It’s just bragging rights, right? Bragging rights. That’s it. And even then, it’s like I’d rather enjoy it and have birdie putts than I would parring from the tips. I’d rather birdie from the whites. Exactly. Oh, Carrie, I might be in the junk. No, I rolled out of the trap. I’m in the rough. Also remember what altitude we’re at here. Yeah, I took I took one less club cuz we are playing in Utah. I got a See, your sky just looks so much bigger in Utah than it does around us. This is uh well, no, Montana’s big sky country. Yeah, Montana’s big sky. And let me tell you, buddy, we were there for 14 years. It’s That’s not a lie. That’s gone. Oh, hang on, Snoopy. Oh, no. Uh, I’m closer, but I think I have a downhill lie or like a severe right. So, when I was playing here two weekends ago, I actually got a lot of good golf balls out of that water on the left. Did you? Couple of Prov1s. Yeah. Quality on the left, quantity on the right. But it’s full of reads in real life. It’s not just an open pond like that. Yeah. Some of the Deer Ridge ones are like that on here. It looks like a nice pond, but it’s not that nice. You just going golf ball hunting, aren’t you? I do like the quality on the left, quantity on the right thing though. Yeah, I heard that. That’s pretty funny when I first first started golfing and I I didn’t know what they meant by it, but your better golfers have a tendency to hook more than they do slice. 118 at elevation up 12. I’m starting to do trigonometry, Shelby. I don’t like it, dude. That’s a dart. Let’s go. Th This This green in real life sucks. Does it? Yep. That was fat. Luckily, you got something. Sadly, I’ve been in that spot a lot. They have that grass bunker like that, too. Yep. It’s That’s really where it is. That’s neat. I thought I was way high, but I just wanted to stay in the circle. 174. Oh man. Okay. If you’re off the back of this green, it’s a like not a sheer drop off, but you won’t like yourself very much. Okay. I pulled it pin high. Or I guess not quite pin high, but would have been on. How’s that only down 10 ft? Does it seem like more in real life? Yeah, it’s it’s a bit more downhill than that in real life, but it’s all good. Oh, big hop. Great ball. Great ball. See, dude, that’s what sucks about par threes is if you aren’t in striking distance, probably a par. I mean, that’s why you get special points for birdies, right? Yeah. Red pimples. How do you feel that was? I think I was too far out because even though I hit it soft, it still didn’t break under the hole. So I think may Yeah, maybe a little more even closer. Closer. Yeah, because you’re hitting you’re hitting faster through the brake here and then there’s really nothing at the hole. Okay. Oh, it’s short. I mean, that’s a that’s a long putt, but I mean par. We’re okay. We’re okay. [ __ ] This looks like a fun one. Yeah. The thing is is this T box you’re hitting over a tree. The tea boxes we usually play are over on the right side of the cart path. Okay. So, you’re not hitting through a tree. So, we can’t play any of your home courses in this event because they’re all behind a firewall or a payw wall. Correct. That sucks. Well, you just made this hole a lot easier. Love it. Nice little gap wedge in. Yeah, Josh is getting those AOTA irons. He’s going there’s a place in Madina. It’s like an hour north of us that they will do fittings for him. So, he was going to go get fit. See what his numbers are. But he played some of the best golf I’ve ever seen him play with him. Maybe when you take that right because you’re using the same swing plane and everything all the time. Yeah. You take all that guesswork out and it just makes it makes sense. But I understand why more people don’t do it. I got to go. That’s not bad. Yeah, you’re right. Filming on this golf course is hard, too, because nothing’s flat. I’m always adjusting my tripod. Bunch of double chips out of bunkers and crap. Like it was when I tallied my score up, it was crazy to see that it was I think it was an 88 or an 89. Not from the tips. I think this is breaking a lot. Do you see where I’m at? Yeah. That’s crazy where you’re where you’re at, sadly. All right, I hit it hard. I like that line about half that speed. I don’t even know where you were. Right there. You’re right on it. So, another another I don’t know if this is the Creator or GS Pro proper, but there’s not a green on Valley View I’ve ever been on where you basically had to hit to a target behind you. I wonder if it’s a combination of stemp and slope. feel like maybe the golf course doesn’t doesn’t play it that fast. Good run. Good run. I think honestly I think that’s all we could do with that putt. Yeah, you would there there’s some places on here where you got to be tight to the pin or you’re you’re too putting 355 down a little. I haven’t played it in GS Pro in so long. And I just played it like two weeks ago. And it it I mean I know how accurate deer ridge is. Is this like would you know where you’re at looking at these without knowing the course you’re playing? If it was some some holes on the front nine I’m pretty familiar with. But if you just showed me like the tea box and said what course are you you on? I I don’t know if I could identify it unless it was like hole one. Yeah, that hole one obviously is pretty hole one was pretty fun. I’m not going to lie. That was a fun T- shot. Well, what’s from the white T’s? I can even drive over the pond. Shoot, I cooked it. I would say these greens are I don’t remember what our settings are, but I don’t remember these greens even being this difficult in real life. I mean, I don’t know that it’s the greens as much as where they put the pins. I did not look to see what pin placement we were. Although the course looks good, I think this would be fun to play. All right, let’s get let’s birdie this one. It’s par five. See, what I like is that the creator didn’t make the driving range there on the left. OB. Yeah. That might have been too much draw. It said hole 18 and he had just uh putted to the like I thought he just putted to the circle. I said, “Good round.” And then it flew him to the tea box and I jinxed him. So he was he was kind of like upset that I jinxed him, which I get. I thought it was done or I wouldn’t have said anything. Then he wrote an apology. Like you don’t have to apologize. Sit, dude.
