Donald Trump’s granddaughter appeared to offer an insight into her famous grandfather’s well-being during a recent golfing outing. In a departure from the typical drama of American politics, the US President featured in a golfing video over the weekend with his granddaughter, Kai Trump, at a Virginia course.
Kai, the oldest daughter of Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr. , and his ex-wife, Vanessa, posted the footage of herself and “Grandpa” Trump enjoying a game on her YouTube channel.
In the hour-long clip, the 18-year-old, who is currently completing her final year at a private school in Miami, Florida, explained how they’d been playing golf together for “years” and that it had become their way to “spend time together”.
After the introduction, Kai and Trump, sporting his red Make America Great Again baseball cap whilst driving a golf cart, began their round. But once they finished the 10th hole, the former reality television star seemed to share a revelation about his health.

As they completed the 10th, Trump proposed they play a complete round, as they were “moving fast”, which Kai accepted. He then asked whether his team minded if they carried on, before the camera cut to the duo continuing in the cart.
During their drive, Trump remarked: “Okay. Well, that way, we have a score. Because if you play nine, they think something’s wrong with you. If you only play nine, they’ll say, ‘Oh, is there something wrong with him?'”
Kai responded with a brief comment about their health, stating: “Nothing’s wrong with us.” Trump then asserted: “Nothing’s…nobody can play golf like that and have something wrong.”
She pointed out they were “one under” in “under an hour”, while Trump boasted it was “called talent”. Immediately after this, as he moved on, he shouted to a group of golfers that their “taxes are coming down”.
In recent weeks, there has been focus on the US President’s health following a series of public appearances and absences that have fuelled speculation about Trump’s potential decline.
In a potential contradiction to an update provided by his doctor, in which they claimed that his cardiac age is roughly 14 years younger than his 79 years, Trump has been spotted with both swollen ankles and bruises on his hands.

Trump reportedly had his annual health checkup at the Walter Reed Medical Centre in Bethesda, Maryland. His doctor, Navy Captain Sean Barbabella, declared that Trump was in “exceptional health”.
He stated: “President Donald J. Trump remains in exceptional health, exhibiting strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological and physical performance.”
However, speculation about his health continues, partly due to photographs that seem to show bruises on Trump’s hands hidden under makeup. The White House, on the other hand, attributed these marks to “frequent handshaking” and aspirin use.
Another incident took place during a public tribute to the victims of 9/11. Trump was seen with one side of his mouth drooping, although he seemed fine when the photos were taken.
Other incidents that could have contributed to rumours about his health include his appearing to grip a podium and brace himself, swollen ankles, public absences, and what the Mirror described as “Trump’s ramblings”.
