I wanted to talk to you about the chipping death move that I see every time I go to a golf course. There’s undoubtedly somebody in the group who’s chipping like this. Let me show you. Dustin’s going to demonstrate for me what people have gotten confused on with chipping. The first thing they’ve been told is to put their weight on their front foot. It’s not necessarily a bad thing, but they’ve also been told to keep their head behind the ball. And when they do this, they may have pressure on their front foot, but their center of gravity is way behind the ball. And it’s going to be very likely that they hit ground first or bladed. We’re going to get Dustin to make much better contact with the shot. So that this last shot that Dustin hit, his angle of attack was 2.4 degrees down. The tour guys are all somewhere between 6 to 12 degrees downward with their AOA. Go ahead and set up, Dustin. We’re going to play the ball off of our back foot. Perfect. And then I’m going to have you take that golf club, pick it up, and touch the ground outside your left foot. This gets Dustin’s spine and weight in the correct spot to help steepen out the angle of attack and make sure he hits ball first. So, we’ll take that club, leave his body where it’s at, and bring the club back to the ball. And now Dustin’s in a position to make sure that he hits the ball before the ground. Angle attack almost 14 degrees down. Massive improvement over that twoderee down that we saw before. Made no change to the swing. Just changed the setup. We’re in a much better spot.
