Breakings : Colombian Nico Echavarría heads into the final round of the Baycurrent Classic, a PGA tournament being played in Yokohama, Japan, with a chance of victory, sitting in third place, three strokes behind the leaders, Americans Xander Schauffele and Max Greyserman.
Echavarría carded a 69 this Saturday after making three birdies and a bogey in the first half of the round and sealing par in the second, keeping him in contention, tied with American Michael Thorbjornsen, South Koreans Byeong Hun An and Si Woo Kim, and South African Garrick Higgo.
Leading the standings are Schauffele, who shot a 67 for a total of 201, and Greyserman, who completed the round with a 71 in pursuit of his first tour victory. They face a highly interesting duel on the final day, with no room for error due to the close chasing pack
