The DP World Tour makes its first visit to Spain on this season’s Race to Dubai this week with the Open de España presented by Madrid. Here are your five things to know. Angel Hidalgo returns to defend his trophy after claiming a maiden DP World Tour title in spectacular style 12 months ago. The home hero went toe-to-toe with three-time winner and two-time Major champion Jon Rahm on the final day. Just over a week from helping Europe to a Ryder Cup triumph on American soil, it is Rahm who is likely to attract the biggest galleries. The 2018, 2019 and 2022 champion is looking to surpass the late, great Seve Ballesteros with four wins in the DP World Tour era but he will have plenty of local competition. Fellow former champions Sergio Garcia and Rafa Cabrera Bello tee it up as do Eugenio Chacarra, Alejandro del Rey, Nacho Elvira, Pablo Larrazábal and Jorge Campillo, who have all won in recent seasons. Add in the likes of David Puig and Angel Ayora and the local fans are sure to have plenty to cheer this week.
Welcome to the Official YouTube channel of the DP World Tour. Every week you can find extended tournament highlights and individual player highlights from the likes of Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Tommy Fleetwood. This is also the home of the 14 Club Challenge, Little Interviews, Fastest Hole and many more challenges, pranks and world record attempts featuring the biggest golfers in the world.

Now it’s turning over. He likes it. Not now. 185 on this occasion. That’s a smooth one. [Applause] Well, no guarantees from down there. Jaden Schaffer. under bar birdie putt up the hill up the slope oh my nicely done no win yet on the DP world tour but we’re all pretty sure it’s going to happen well the clean lie helps but I don’t think he looks happy with it I don’t know why not mind you what did that hit that was a sideways bounce look at what What a break. Looking to start it on where Brown’s balls finished. Well, anything on the green’s good from that lie. Oh, there’s that bounce again off the edge. That’s that time. That was really unlucky. Now, it’ll come out hot. Yeah, it wasn’t an easy lie to play from. It’s one of those you can easily hit it just in front of you or leave it a long way short. He’d love to hold it, but really he’s thinking I’ll get two putts here. I’ve closed the gap by one because you never know with Michael Pens, don’t you? We hold those for fun yesterday. And that’s gone further by than it looks. Wow. You would expect this to be dancing around the flag just like that. Yeah, he doesn’t want to take his foot off the accelerator, but he doesn’t need to push too hard with a three shot lead. Be sensible. And I think that is a superb shot. He was leaving the left hand mound and rubbish out of play. That would be my read, too. And it’s gone the other way. That is hard to explain. I would have read that exactly as Iny left half, but there’s a lot of grain in these greens and it can influence it. Little patches of grain and he’s in shock as well. Look, he just cannot believe that. 223 yds today to a small green. Always a difficult shot, buddy. God, that is unlucky. And I think Rahm can shoot 30 on this back nine. That’s the start to the back n he was looking for. It’s very difficult to feel this one. Oh, that’s fabulous. Oh, it’s better than fabulous. Can you believe that? That is a one in 50 pop from there. 165 yds today. Flag tucked on that right hand shelf where it was on day one, but further forward with the greens firming up. Tough to get it that close. That’s a really good shot. Sounds silly. You’re just trying to two-part walk away with an easy body. Yep, that’s good enough. Perfectly read by Iny as well. And Dan Brown with that birdie eagle at three and four moves within one at least at the moment of Marco Penge at the top. And to move within five of Marco Penge. Excellent. Four birdies. No drop shots. In fact, four birdies. [Music] And now only one. How quickly things change. What a difference a day makes. Tony. He hold everything he looked at yesterday. Well, this is back up the hill. You saw how fast it was once he got past the hole. So he’s got to keep the pace up here and does. That’s a good stroke. That’s a nice puck coming back for Hugo. Back foot stab. Eagle chip. Good pace. Yeah, good try. Lovely touch. Easy birdie for Ram. And that will get him to minus 8. Quite a sloppy green 11. Yeah, beautifully done. They are hard to come by. Bird is at 11. Now McKibben, we know how tough this flag is at eight. Right up in the back left corner on a little plateau about there. Best we’ve seen today. Cracking golf shot from Tom McKibben. Penn struggles a little bit. Dan Brown seems to pull off a worldy of a shot. Eagle effort. He’s already made one earlier. Just climbing the ridge. Steady, steady. You see how quick that is at the whole side. But that’s good. Wasn’t firm. Wasn’t firm. And that’s what happens on these greens. And really with his power, that feels like a double bogey, doesn’t he? Jams it in. That’s impressive, isn’t it, from Daniel Brown. So he moves to 13 under. He’s within two, but remember Penge is going to drop at least one here. [Applause] Catch the down slow. [Music] That’s a Jenn Excellent to have enough speed and spin into this back pin. Number [Music] [Applause] Excellent. Some good shots out there today. In fact, he’s played well this week. Larkin does make the birdie over at 13. He’s not out of it yet. To 11 under just a nine for Gerach. It’s a quirky par three, isn’t it? That the tea points in completely the wrong direction as Gerach plays. Oh, perhaps the best shot of the day. We saw that 7’9 in. Can you believe that? 165 yds. And the nearest of the whole field on the day is 7’9. He’s been caught. And I don’t think any of us expected given the pressure he was under for Gerbach to come out and play so well. Beautiful. That was a good up and down. Not easy to get that to stop where he didn’t he is. No. It’s a quick pop down this hill. Left edge. Wonderful grand stand finish from John. This tournament owes him so so much because he’s been a massive part of the resurrection, the popularity. Another player in need of a decent check, if not a good check. And oh, that is more than welcome. That is an absolute golden Sandy. This is to uh tie the lead again to bounce back after the drop shot at 10. He gets another one. 14 is the only par five on the back line here at the club to Campo. Near gun. Third shot to the back right pin. controlled for Marco Pen. A great angle. Pitch it a long right. Get it to stop dead. If anything, that ridge could be there to support you. Nice. Nice little kick forwards. Just a hint of left to right for Pench. Straightens up in the final two feet. Finally, first birdie of the day for Marco Pench. So he moves ahead of Gerbach and reestablishes a slender lead. Oh dear. And just like that, pin two in front again. And that’s how you play that shot. Well, he’s only got two options, hasn’t he? Wait for the physio or walk in. Was very good effort, wasn’t it? Take a club or two more and just feather it. He’s gone at it. Well, I tell you what. Swing looked fine. The net might not be. Oh, what a shot. Well, that’s unbelievable, isn’t it? As you said, Tony, sometimes you back off like he can even hit two clubs more if he has to and hit half swings. Quite incredible birdie. I mean, that’s one of the most bizarre things I’ve seen in all honesty because I was convinced he wasn’t going to be able to swing. Very much want to finesse. It’s difficult to do when the ball’s above your feet. Well, the smooth swing still looks pretty good. How about this? How about this? Well, I’ll just put my back out, my shoulder out completely, and then I’ll go birdie par birdie. It’ll make him feel a whole lot more comfortable, but it’s exactly asy said. Over borrowed inside right firm. A little longer than I thought, but it’s there. This is quite astonishing, isn’t it? Looks like he’s going to run it all the way. And that is the key. Put the squeeze on Marco Penge by doing exactly that. Man, that makes Marco’s shot a fair bit trickier. Brilliant. Well done, Joel Gerba. It’s a birdie at the last. He climbs alongside Dan Brown. Maybe only for a short while in a share of second place. [Music] Well, the pace was really good. What a battling performance really from Dan Brown. Last year we went into extra time with two Spaniards. This year it is going to be two Englishmen who will battle away for the Spanish Open title. They’ll go back down the 18th. It’s a better line. Yeah. You know, I think I think he’s almost between driver and the mini driver. Good sound. Yeah, just a little low in flight for me that I would have liked to have seen that another 10 ft higher. [Music] Done pretty well. Very easy to get that heavy that chip and leave it in the the fluff short of the green and then you’ve got all sorts of issues. It’s so easy to lose this right. Oh, and he knew it. He knew it. [Applause] He really thumped it down the left side, didn’t he? Never had a chance in all honesty. But when it matters most, he finds the putt and it’s a third win of the season for Marco Penge. Good looking. Marco Penge, third win of the season, third win of your career, third win in your last 16 stars this time at Club Dampo. Tell us how you feeling. Yeah. No, it was um strange day for me. Um you know, I was kind of out in my head that, you know, the golfing gods were kind of against me in a way. Uh I think, you know, Dan and Joel played great today. You know, they were hauling pucks and putting the pressure on me and, you know, I just couldn’t really get it in the hole. So it felt like I was really up against it. But um yeah, I felt like I managed myself really well and I actually think Ter Green I played really solid. Just wasn’t a matter of the PS. I think I used them all yesterday but obviously holding that one there was uh worth the wait. Big leader the start of the day. Dan and Joel Joel caught you. You looked cool, calm, and reserved. Was it like that on the inside? Yeah, I felt like I didn’t really have much nerves going on. I felt I felt good. Um I was just trying to stick to the same stuff that I’ve been doing over the last 6 months and you know I just couldn’t get it in the hole and uh I was getting a little frustrated at times but I was reminding myself you know I was so patient the first three rounds and that’s the reason why I played the way I did. So you know I just tried to stay in the same sort of mindset and uh yeah but credit to the lads you know they they’ve done unbelievable to catch me and um just I’m just very grateful that I could be the one that wins in the end. you win here and very soon you’re going to get an invitation from the board of governors from Augusta National Golf Club and you’ll be playing in the masters next year. How excited are you at that opportunity? Yeah, it’s Oh, it’s crazy. Like, you know, it’s um it’s a golf course that I’ve always wanted to play because I feel like my game sets up really really good for it. Um you know, as my goal was to get in the top 50 in the world by the end of the year. So I think that made it a little easier kind of playing the playoff knowing that well if I don’t win I’m still going to be at the masters. So yeah I tried to do a bit of reverse psychology there and but no I’m looking forward to it. Marco, many many congratulations. Enjoy the celebration. I think you might be able to get soaked in a few moments time. Sh. But no, thank you very much and just like to thank everyone for always supporting me. Means a lot and uh you know it means so much to me, my wife, my son and my family. So yeah, I wouldn’t be here without my team, my sponsors, and all my support. So yeah, massive thank you to them. Top man, Mark, well done. Thank you. Cheers. Thank you. Thank you very much. [Music] Straight to me, please. Yeah. Heat. Heat.

3:36 I thought my monitor has some issues…
Great victory for Penge there, showing a lot of bottle.
Another win. Marco has been a Pleasure to watch all season.
What a fabulous young man . My friends know him well and can confirm he’s a charming guy.
Real entertaining golf from the gentlemen…..Some amazing swings….God Bless…lot of love
Anyone remember seeing Marco on old Europro tour vids, he had a good game then.
Not Penges best round today, but he's been class for the previous 3 days. He's been a revelation this season. Pushing Rory all the way for the DP World Tour Race to Dubai standings, in 2nd place with a few more tournaments to go.
Marco is a top guy, so humble too, followed his career since he was on the Euro pro tour in 2017, he's at the top of his game at the moment, he's been the most consistent player in Europe, I think he deserved a spot on the Ryder Cup. You deserve a week off Marco.
Marko likes to have a bet.
Great win but well done too to Dan
it's been a while since an Englishman won at ANGC let's do it Marco.
Marco Penge seems like a good guy to go with his good golf, congrats to him.
If you are going to put together highlights that show the story of the round, how can you miss the double bogey from Brown that followed the eagle? Suddenly showing him 3 behind rather than one ruins the continuity.
Great content, fantastic win for Marco. Such a class act.
Well done champion
Sorry for the overly positive stuff. "Be the change you want in the worlld" – Ghandi
Glad to hear Inci back on the mic. She's insightful. Also, the main commentators have the humour excitement and tension dialled down too.
It's also good to know who is making each stroke without commentators for those hard of hearing.
DP World Tour's production team doong another excellent job.
If you want me to be nit-picky, i couls but there are better things to focus on.
Penge is going places. PGA tour next year?
🇨🇭bravo
Future star, watch this space….
Great work huge congrats Marco been following you for years, be good to see Todd Clements and Richard Mansell join you…!! 👍
Congratualtion to Marco.
Very nice round of Jon Rahm.
Great win and what a ball striker and the putting has been quality!!!
Well done Marco hope he goes onto to win the Race to Dubai. Shame he’s not earned a penny in appearance fees where Rory gets $3m for every event apart from the Majors. I just wish the DP World tour would outlaw appearance fees like the PGA tour. Total prize funds on the DP World tour are just a fraction of what they pay in appearance fees. I reckon if they used the money for appearance fees and put it in the prize funds the total purse would be the same as the PGA tour.
Penge’s interview yesterday he was setting himself up for a meltdown and it almost happened. Fair play to him for recovering this.
Top guy!
