BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The WKU men’s golf team’s fall schedule continues at the Purdue Fall Invitational on Monday, Oct. 13 and Tuesday, Oct. 14 in West Lafayette, Indiana at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

ABOUT THE TOPS


WKU’s lineup will be Ethan Smith, Will Easterlin, Rafe Blankenship, Trevor Drew, Gage Doyle and Reed Richey as an individual.  
This will be the fourth event of the fall for the Hilltoppers. WKU competed at the Argent Financial Classic hosted by Louisiana Tech on Sept. 7-9, finishing in 11th with a 5-under score (859). The Hilltoppers competed in the Virtues Intercollegiate where they came in seventh place. Most recently, WKU competed in the Cullan Brown Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky where they finished in 10th place.
Redshirt freshman Ethan Smith claimed a tie for 14th place at the Cullan Brown Invitational with a 1-under (141) score for the 36 holes, helping him earn Conference USA Golfer of the Week.
Gage Doyle was the top finisher for the Hilltoppers in Louisiana. He carded a 4-under score of 212 for the tournament, tying for 22nd place. Will Easterlin was the leader for WKU in the Virtues Intercollegiate. He finished in 16th place with a 1-over par (217) score.

 
THE FIELD (15 TEAMS)
WKU will be joined in the field by host Purdue along with Illinois State, Ball State, Purdue Fort Wayne, Valparaiso, Loyola Chicago, Oakland, Toledo, South Dakota State, Nebraska, Ohio, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois and Butler.
