The PGA TOUR has just five events left in the FedExCup Fall – and three of them are outside of the United States starting this week with a stop in Japan. The Baycurrent Classic heads to a new golf course for 2025, Yokohama Country Club. It’s as important a time as any for those outside of the top 100 in the FedExCup Fall standings to earn valuable points in order to lock up full status for 2026. Past champion Collin Morikawa is back in action as he looks to find the winner’s circle for the first time since this tournament in 2023. Xander Schauffele returns to the PGA TOUR for the first time since the BMW Championship – and for the first time since becoming a father. The nine-time PGA TOUR winner has two top 10s in his last four starts without a win this season. Other names to look for include Hideki Matsuyama, Tony Finau, and Max Homa.

spin through the early highlights on moving day. Hot start for Seiw Kim on the first. Yeah, and this front nine is where the scoring is done on this golf course. So important to get off to a fast start. Xander Schoffley making his presence felt. Yeah, biggest name in the field. You just know he’s going to be a factor come tomorrow afternoon. Very reachable par fives on the front side at four and six. Shley trying to get home at two on the fourth. Yeah, incredible from a hanging live ball well above his feet. right up the middle of the green. He has the forer eagle. Yeah. Forced to lay up here. So having to do it the oldfashioned way. This pin kind of in the back right portion of this green. That’ll play. See that tree in the middle of the fairway. It’s 290 off the te of that tree. So these guys laid back. Some players have been a beautiful shot there pushing it up here at the eighth. Seiwoo stones it and you can put so much spin on the golf ball off this these Zoya fairways. A more of a runner. Yeah, really nicely done. You can see just a square face chaser. [Applause] Third shot closer to 10 at 12 ft. And I’m not sure that hitting it that poorly today in these conditions is sustainable, but is one of the best putters on tour. Grman for birdie. There we go. If you make this to be three under pile through six holes in these conditions is really impressive even for the world’s number four. Nicely done. Well, Craig, you pull it back. The last 24 holes, Ander Schoffley is 11 under par. See, Kim was flag hunting to tie Schoffley. 11 under par. And this is a guy who can go low. And when he starts feeling it, it’s almost like two greens here at the ninth. There’s a big ridge. It runs kind of north south through the middle of this green, but that’s not in play for him. It looked like a little bit of a tug. Not his best parut here for Grayson and not in for Bogey. So this is costly here. He’s going to drop to 12 under. Pretty shocking actually, Tom. This guy had 23 putts each of the first and second rounds. Was second on turn putting last year. So it’s the strength and oh my goodness. Wow. That’s such a shame because I mean that bo double bogey has come out of nowhere. And it is tracking and in it goes. So Seaw Wu Kim to 12 under par. And what a change we’ve had at the top of the leaderboard in the last 10 minutes or so. Battle with Justin Thomas last year. Max Graceman was in there as well. [Applause] Higgo on the green has this for birdie. All of a sudden things tightening up on this leaderboard. A lot of guys within shouting distance here now. It’s like it’s perched up on a tea and a very good looking shot if it’s an off club. Certainly is beautiful. And there’s a back stop behind this flag so you can be very aggressive. Good flat line the fairway. Stay right there. Yep. And a chance for a bird. He started the day with a fourshot lead. Ben has managed to drive it past that tree. Got to be careful here. Get it up to the flag. Yep. Yeah, that’s nicely done. Tricky little shot there. See who’s tapped in for his bogey. So he’s back at 11 under. This is to take the lead. Well, that didn’t take long for world number four to vault to the top of the leaderboard. Make this a pretty simple putt up the hill. You shoot even par [Applause] up and down there. This is Roy at the 11th. His third and Kevin Roy chipping it in. Wow. And that’s a bonus at the 11th. One of the hardest holes on the golf course. There’s a little back stop behind this pin that you can use, especially from the rough. It might be advantageous. He doesn’t need it. Throws a dart in there. Trying to get as close to the ball as possible with the contact. That’s predictable the rally from there. You don’t send one over the green to avoid a bogey. Wow, that is a working man there. And Panama’s the hattip up on the 16th green. Minu Lee. Hadn’t been many birdies on this par 316th. Minw for a two on the card. Just caught enough of the hole. He’s a couple under on the round. I love the way he played that. That is fantastic. Wow. He’s in the mix here. Just a few shots back. Another good one. Okay, both of those guys utilizing that little back stop in behind the 12 on the money. Yeah, three great shots there at the 12. Pays it off. And look at that. Back in the lead. His third shot at the 17th. Yeah, very similar. Look at that. Another one from off the green. [Music] Phil Böson for birdie. He’s had an up and down day. Made a two at the eighth. Had three birdies in a row on the front nine as well. And uh he’s in the mix. Most difficult hole on the course. The 14th playing closer to a par five today for the field. Scoring average of nearly 4.6. Trying to drive that one. Chase it back there but hit the brakes. Par putt for Seiwam to stay a touch of the leader Graaserman. See sending it. Stay difficult par putts. just hit it firm enough to keep it on its line. Yeah, it was really good. If he jumps up to eight, he’s inside the top 10. Would be four back. Yeah, this would be three straight to finish the day. Wow, what a finish. Minu Lee on a tear to the house. 6567. It’s tough to tell. Forecast has been changing a little bit. See Kim second. Pretty big drop off left of this hole. A dead aim. Been a tough back nine for him. And the birdie putt for Seiw Kim. Well, it seemed like he let so many go here on this back nine, but now finds himself just a couple back. Tom takes some speed through the ball. Stops the back swing. Yeah, there’s the release down the slope. Yeah, if you can shoot even today the way he’s played great. Critical card save for Graceman. Stays at 12, leading by one. Hasn’t been tremendously good with the short wedges today. This one looks better. Oh yeah, very good. And a great look at the birdie. Oh, really well done. That’s such a great view there that we had. And he’s going to be a tough man to beat tomorrow. This was a forearm coming out very low and left. is where Soth was. It’s going to be difficult, but he’s got a little he can maybe use that back stop. Should be the right club and struck very well turning towards the flag. Oh, and it’s deep. It seemed like a lot of club. A sixiron from there probably in between. Obviously didn’t want to leave it short. Oh, very nice. Very tidy bunker shotley for birdie down the hill. We’ll pick up speed now. [Music] Really nicely done there, guys. Yeah, well judged with the speed. That was the most important thing. We fought that one out on the 18th. That’s a nice four. Began the day at 12 under. We’ll walk off the 18th. Green still at 12 under. Even par 71. Came in as a tournament favorite, fourth ranked player in the world. He’s a co-leader with 18 holes to go trying to win the bait current for the first time in his career. Graham, your parting thoughts as we’re looking at the leaderboard. Well, I mean, I think it’s going to be exciting. You got Zoffley, like you said, top ranked player in the field in the lead. This is his tournament to win. I think everybody thinks that. Can somebody make a move and put some extra pressure on them? Thanks for watching the PJ tour. To watch more, click here. To subscribe, click here.
