Kiara, solid stuff out there. That’s the second best round of the day. Four under par today. What went so well for you out there? Um I think I was I was I only missed I think two favors and I think I hit 17 greens. Um so I think on this golf course that’s a pretty good start and um yeah made a couple pots but you know I would say like within you know within margins obviously hitting 17 greens but um I had a bit of a hiccup on on whole seven three putting from five meters. So I was really happy to then finish with birdie birdie and kind of not let that affect myself too much. Let’s talk about this golf course then because you went me saying last year I know you’ve had it very difficult. You missed the cut. This year after two days you’re out in contention. So what do you think’s been the difference? Um I think you know last year I came here and then I saw a lot of these T-shots and I ended up being really scared. Um I think I played really scared golf last year on this golf course and that’s just like the last thing you can do. Um, so I’ve tried to really do the opposite um, this year and just, you know, be very intentional with the shots I’m hitting, especially off the tea and into the green. I mean, playing a bit softer this year into the green. So that’s nice because you can actually like fire at pins a bit more than you could last year. But still, I mean, T- shots have to be so good because the rough this year is brutal. Um, and so yeah, I’ve been just very intentional and kind of did a lot of work ahead of time as well on my three-wood because I knew I was going to use that a lot off the tea and it’s been behaving quite well. and the score today and the position in general is made perhaps even more impressive given you’re carrying a little injury. So just tell me a bit about that. Um yeah, I don’t know. My usually have problems with my right wrist, but somehow my left wrist and thumb started to act up on on Tuesday and I had to pull out um out of pro on Wednesday. Um didn’t think it was much, but then it just honestly got worse and worse. Thursday morning I was seriously considering um not playing because I was just so worried about making it worse and you know jeopardizing something but long term because obviously you know you have so many horror stories of people pushing too through too much pain with wrists I mean ligaments and all that stuff is is just quite um tricky but NAF has been incredible um so she’s been yeah speaking some courage into into my head which has been great and um yeah I have to say it’s it’s kind of hanging in um yeah hanging in there which is which is good. So, I’m going to go see her right after this. With that in mind, then, I mean, you’re a proven winner on tour. Does that perhaps change your expectations going into the weekend? How you going to approach it? Um, you know, I think, yeah, try to do pretty much the same thing. I know I haven’t won this year, which is obviously a big goal of mine, but um, you know, you also can’t really force it, especially on this golf course. It’s it’s going to be boring answer, but shot by shot. Um, I’m going to try and take good care of this. I mean, I haven’t practiced much um, the last couple days. Um, it’s going to stay at that. So, you know, I just really have to trust the that the work that I have put in the last couple weeks is kind of going to be paying off and my body has, you know, the skill of of hitting the shots still. I’ll leave you to rest and recover. Best of luck this weekend. Thank you.
