Morehead, Ky.– The Morehead State Men’s golf team will head down to Acworth, Georgia to play in The Scrappy at Cobblestone hosted by Kennesaw State University. The Eagles are fresh off a record-breaking finish at the Derek Dolenc Invitational in which their 833 total set the program record for a 54-hole tournament. 

The Eagles will tee-off on Monday, Oct. 13 at 8 a.m. ET and play 36 holes. They will finish up play the following day (Oct. 14) with another 8 a.m. start time. 

Morehead State last played in the Pinetree Intercollegiate last season, which was the original name of this tournament. The Eagles tied for fifth in a competing pool of 10. 

“This is a new golf course that we are looking forward to seeing for the first time,” said Morehead State Head Coach Matthew Martin. “The weather forecast looks fantastic, and we will be ready to build forward from our strong finish at Gateway.”
