WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University men’s and women’s golf teams are set to tee off at the Sioux Falls Invitational in Larchwood, Iowa on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 14th at the Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort.

The Warrior women’s team looks to build off a strong sixth place showing at the 19 team Grace Shin Invitational. While the WSU men’s team prepares to maintain their 2025 season dominance after finishing fourth at the Skip Wagnon Invitational last weekend.

Women’s Golf Notes:


Winona State has finished in the top three for half of their events so far this season along with a sixth-place finish in the 19 team Grace Shin Invitational.
Winona State is second in the NSIC for average team score (308.2), slightly behind Minnesota State-Mankato (300.0).
Kelby Anderson led the Warriors with a top 20 finish at the Grace Shin Invitational, shooting a 77 (+6) on the opening day and firing a 70 (-1) the second round to total a score of 147 for the tournament.
Lindsey Lund is tied for fifth in the NSIC for the lowest round this season with a 71 at the Central Region Fall Preview during her second round.
Winona State is tied for second in the NSIC for team’s low rounds with a score of 298 at the Central Region Fall Preview (2nd round).

Men’s Golf Notes:


The Warriors have dominated the courses this year, finishing in first place at their first two events and a recent fourth place finish at the 18 team Skip Wagon Invitational.
Javier Ramos Casariego was voted the NSIC golfer of the week last week.
Peyton Coahran has received the NSIC golfer of the week award twice this season.
Luke Maas and Tyler Gandrud are both in the top five in the NSIC for individual average scores.
