I'm an idiot when it comes to golf so excuse this obviously dumb question. If everyone saw it land and saw the machine hit it, why not just play a new ball from that same spot?
I hit the drive of my life on a par 5… right as I hit the team in front of us (we’re playing a scramble tournament) starts back towards us. I watched them slide to a stop 3 feet in front of where my ball landed. We catch up to them at the next hole, they ask who the ** hit that 350 yard bomb and everyone points at me. I expected them to be pissed, they then proceeded to buy me a drink and say “that was the best drive I’ve ever seen, do that again and we’ll give you 100$😂” the used their range finder and it was a 352.2 yard drive, I’ll never hit one that good again
