Jakarta Championship Series is seated. Well, it feels amazing to be here. Um, I didn’t think I’d be here at the start of the week. I’ve been struggling a little bit with my game, but um hold some putts round one and just hung in there all week and um the tight battle there at the end and then any time to win a playoff um it feels fantastic. I feel bad for Scotty. You know, he let a couple go at the end there, but um I’m thrilled to be here. It’s a great event and the international series on the Asian Tour, our flagship event. So, it’s great to be standing out here today with Mr. Wayne Orsby with the trophy. Kiss. Kiss. Yeah. [Music] And with that said, ladies and gentlemen and spectators once again to esteemed guests to Governor and to all our VIPs, thank you very much for your attendance. Key won the 13. Um um Scott made that 25 footer and then I really had to make that putt otherwise he was two ahead. So made a great up and down on six or 15 and then um yeah I feel it’s never nice missing puts like Scotty do coming home. But um then it was nice to hold that putt in regulation on 18 um to give myself a chance to play and I hit two really good swings in the playoff. That really made me made me feel good about about the whole thing for the whole day. I probably didn’t putt as good as I had the rest of the week. Um I was struggling a bit with my speed, but I was kind of it’s funny the way nerves work and you and you process everything out there. But I felt quite good over that one. You know, a couple early ones I hit pretty poor putts just was my head was kind of controlling me a little bit too much, but I felt pretty good. It was either hold it or knock type thing. So, um I knew it was going left to right. It’s quite slloy. So, um yeah, I actually hit a pretty reasonable putt. So, now happy to hold it. Um no, I had to do my thing. I had to try to control my thing and um I was riding between five and six going there. Five and six iron coming in on in regulation and obviously there’s a lot of trouble short and right. So, I kind of went for a 3/4 five, but it wasn’t a great swing. Felt a bit defensive, but I had to keep it on that side. And then I just hit a pretty weak chip. Just got a little bit of grass between the ball and the face and that’s why I came up short. But um Scott was doing his thing and um he hit a great chip down there, but it was all over to me. So Phil’s been making those putts. You know, that’s what you play the game for. And um then like I said, couple of good swings in the playoff there. and um unfortunately what happened to Scott, but um it’s benefit of going first, I guess, to try and put the pressure on and it was a good swing, so I’m pleased with that. Yeah, absolutely. Um there’s a lot to play for in the international series. Um there’s a lid carrot at the end. Hasn’t hadn’t been on my radar until now. So, um, you just want to play well and I’m obviously getting on in my career and, um, it’s still cherish those opportunities to play in last groups and big events and I was just trying to enjoy it out there today and there was a bit of a grind in the wind and um, yeah, I’m looking forward to the next stretch now so I can um, kind of enjoy. I love Hong Kong. It’s always been a happy hunting ground for me. Um, Saudi is great. I’m going to be in all those events now. So, I’m really looking forward to having a good run through to Christmas and um see if I can push my way up those rankings. Nothing gives you more confidence than winning golf tournaments and I think the way I won that one today, you know, I ground it out and it was it was pretty tough out there, you know, like it was the greens are they aren’t fast, but you could have miss it on certain sides of the hole and it was kind of windy out there so you just had to not make mistakes. Um it wasn’t a mile different from the style of golf you play at Hong Kong. I always look forward to that place. It suits me. I’m not that long and I hit it reasonably straight generally. So, um yeah, absolutely looking forward to that one. But the Philippines next international series, hearing great things about that venue. It’s a stacked field as is Hong Kong. So, um really looking forward to this run through to Christmas and um it’s nice to be playing some top class tournaments. Um, yeah. I think the fact that I’d done it before, I think the first one’s always the toughest one, but just got to, it’s all the same old cliche. Stay in the present one shot at a time. I say to my K, we just got to keep on plugging away here and give ourselves a chance for a few to go. And, um, even though I won this week, my game was nowhere near it as best, but I actually put and I played I played the game really well, which I’m really proud of, but I knew what I could and can’t do out there and I tried to play to what I could and can’t do. So, um yeah, just control my fourwheel hit on the right side of the flag and um yeah, golf course. I like these greens. Um it’s my first time being in this pick area. So, um hotel was great this week. It was nice. I was just walking back and forwards. It’s um we’ve been at Royal Jakarta before and that’s a great golf course, but I’m really impressed with this place. Um Jakarta’s always fun. The food’s good. Everything’s great here. And um it’s definitely the week I’ve enjoyed the most um of all my weeks I’ve been in Jakarta. Thank you. [Applause] [Music]
