Chippers are really versatile clubs and can be used from pretty much anywhere including the bunker!

They might not be able to get you out of a really deep bunker but if you are ever faced with quite a low lip like the one I had in the video then a chipper can be the perfect club to help you pull it off
.
Sometimes you might be stuck in between how to play it but with a chipper there is only really one way that you can use it and it’s perfect for this type of shot where you have a lot of room with, don’t need much elevation but need to make a clean strike
.
If you have a chipper I definitely recommend giving it a go!

Seems like the point of the video was showing how the chipping club is effective out of bunkers. The rules of golf were not the intention of the video. FyI the club works grounded or raised off the sand. I purchased the Odyssey chipper and no longer need my PW and SW.
