Hi, Colin. Um, you said before the RDER Cup that you wanted the fans to go crazy and you wanted there to be chaos. Um, do you feel that the way that the fans behave crossed the line and do you feel any responsibility for the way they behaved or regret what you said before the competition? Well, I I think we’ve taken what I said a little out of context. You know, I I think Ryder Cups are meant to have a lot of energy, right? And I I think me saying the word chaos, I I didn’t mean for them to be rude, right? So like that’s not on on me, I believe, for me to take credit for people being rude. I think what I meant was like I wanted energy, right? You wanted people to be pride and be proud of the country and the countries they’re rooting for. Um so I I don’t think you know me saying one word everyone listened and then I don’t think I have the power to do that you know amongst people. I think pe fans can can do and say what they want sometimes and and it it probably crossed a line out there um and you know it wasn’t in my groups but definitely you know what what people were hearing. So I would say you know yeah it’s there there’s a line that needs to be drawn I believe. But I think that’s what’s so different and unique about golf is that we hear nearly everything what people say because people have access to be so close to us. Um, you look at a lot of other sports, you don’t really hear much. You know, things are said, but golf has that different aspect to it. So, I think we have to learn how to find that that division um of what’s appropriate and what’s

Yeah people are too close in golf but the same can be said about courtside seats in basketball.
What they did was not chaos. Rory said when he played scheffler he didn't even hear people cheering for Scottie. They were only being dickheads to him.
Colin a politician now? Poor guy 😅
Take your medicine, Colin.
Those clowns in the crowd acted like idiots.
Never let NY host anything. Never let Colin near our US squad again.
Then say high energy. Chaos implies disorder.
He doesn't understand what "taken out of context means". What he means is "misconstrued". He hit what he wanted: wild fans
Take responsibility and do the right thing when it matters. Too bloody late now Colin and nobody cares what you say anymore
He’s a naive rich fool.
Why’s everyone all “up in arms” about this? It’s not the first time it’s happened, and it’s not even that big of a deal. People pay for tickets and they are entitled to say what they want, unless the event bans certain language. No such language was banned prior to the event. So therefore, nobody crossed any line. There was no line. But now, because all of you are “up in arms,” there will be a line. Everyone just wants to be offended.
Colin come on bro … call it for what it is …
When havent new york fans crossed the line?
