I’m 63 and I walk 18 twice a week, I must be lucky cuz I never feel like I need any of this so your info is a bit off

You should not be that sore in your 30s after a round of golf if you take care of your body.
kjtobia
30 is supposed to be your prime.
Mancey_
48 and played 5 rounds in 5 days a few weeks back. I wouldnt say I’m fit at all…I’m just golf fit
Mission_Complaint835
I literally played 36 yesterday from 10:30-6:30.. I feel fine lol
skew_witt
I can’t imagine what you’d look like if you walked 18 😏

Just turned 40. I’m taking better care of myself now than in my 20s. Still snowboard, skate, all the fun stuff. Hadn’t done a back lip on a skateboard in 10 years. Was throwing them down this last summer.
Some of y’all need to get exercise outside of golf.
NotoriousMFT
If I’m carrying the bag my back might be hurting a tad, but with a push cart, maybe if my shoes suck my feet would be in trouble but that’s it
FriendToTurtles1000
I lay on my stomach and Ice my back after rounds. Occasionally my elbows and knees. I’m 41 but I’ve had several surgeries.
ModsBeGheyBoys
For me, it’s more like being in a body cast after the front nine.

Bro 30? Just give up now
hockeychick67
Golfed with an 88 yo woman in my league last month. She said she’s going to retire when she’s 90. I hope so. She kicked my ass!
Ordinary_Monitor_607
Relevant.. I hit one off hardpan a couple weeks ago and I haven’t been right since.. left hand and back.. WTF.. I didn’t sign up for this. Getting old s***..
Delicious-Life3543
Lifted, ran 6 miles, and walked 18 yesterday (bag on back). Get a grip bruh! You won’t be able to wipe your own ass in another 30 if you keep at it.
Employee-Number-9
Men over 60 maybe. Im 34 and played basketball for 3 hours after my last round of 18
bowdindine
Maybe cuz I’m hungover as hell and fell out of the cart trying to do the cool ball-grabbing-without-stopping move and got ran over but yeah….

Hit the gym fatty

Golf Forever workouts help with the soreness and flexibility. I’ve added it to my weight programs and I feel a lot better, and not even just in golf, but my every day stuff. Feel like I rotate a lot better now, too.

Anyone who feels like OP’s picture after a round of golf probably eats a dogshit diet, drinks too much, and/or chooses not to exercise.
WeatherWest6896
Fitness certainly helps. I’ve been walking courses since the 1990s and I’m 68. A naproxen before the round prophylactically helps too.

I can relate but… I don’t play that often. Maybe 5-6 times a year playing and walking 18. I’m just sore as shit after. It’s not the walking… it’s just a live in Florida, it’s hot as shit, and I’m usually around the 95-105 range. That’s a lot of swings.
supplyncommand
lol screw that im ready for another 18 right after
Druglessness
Yeah it’s sad if you feel like this after 18 in your 30s
Golfsac21
Maybe laugh at op .
Hiney111
Maybe over 55? At thirty I’d be headed out for the next 18.
Fragrant-Report-6411
Not. I’m 73 and play almost everyday pain free

75 with knee replacements. Walk 9 holes (3100 yd course) 4 days a week, and 1 18-hole round, on average. Overweight but generally in good shape. Advil and Tylenol before the round help, and Advil in late afternoon eases the aches. Also, our course is hilly, and an electric caddy really helps the back!

30?? Haha. I still carry my bag for all 18 and I’m 55. You want to stay fit and in shape , you need to put in the work. Even a push cart is good for cardio. Power carts are nice, but not needed. Stay grounded and breath in the atmosphere, don’t pass it all by at 15mph in a golf cart. One day you won’t be able to walk the course and you will wish you had/could.
goliathkillerbowmkr
All these “I’m 90 and I play 36 a day” comments. You better be walking or there is no bragging.
bmraovdeys
Bro you can play this game into your 90s. How the hell are you broken after sitting in a cart for 18 holes
