Suspects in golf course mischief
Fort McMurray— Wood Buffalo RCMP are investigating a theft and mischief incident after suspects stole a golf cart and caused damage at the Fort McMurray Golf Club early on Sept. 18.
Police say two individuals arrived at the course between 2 a.m. and 3 a.m. on a yellow dirt bike and damaged two beer carts before one of them stole a golf cart. The stolen cart was later found behind a sea can near Eagle Ridge Commons on Eagle Ridge Boulevard with visible damage.
RCMP have obtained surveillance footage of the suspects. One was wearing a red hoodie, yellow and black pants, black boots, and a full-face helmet with a headlight. The other wore a black hoodie, white or grey sweatpants, black shoes, and a black full-face helmet.
