BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Javier Ramos Casariego earned NSIC Golfer of the Week after firing rounds of 67, 68, and 67 to finish eight under par.
Casariego, a sophomore from A Coruna, Spain helped the Warriors men’s golf team to a fourth-place finish at the Skip Wagnon Invitational at the Kicking Bird Golf Club in Edmond, Okla.
Casariego finished sixth overall in the 96-golfer field at 202, 8-under par and was in the top five in scoring on Par 3s, scoring on Par 5s, and in overall pars with 38. He also assisted in the Warriors finish that was first among all NSIC teams in the event.
WSU is in action next on Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 14th at the Sioux Falls Invitational in Larchwood, Iowa at the Grand Falls Casino and Golf Resort.
