Fans of True Linksware have been waiting for a spiked shoe for a long time, and that wait is now over with the Lux Maven and the Lux Player. Both of these shoes feature a spiked sole with heavy traction elements built in as well. The traction on both of these shoes is outstanding. It’s as good as anything you’re going to find out there. There are some important differences. The Maven is more expensive. It’s a Napa leather. It’s heavier. And it has a carbon fiber plate running the entire length of the sole. That completely changes how this feels. It’s a much more rigid feel than traditional TRS. The Lux Player is for people who want everything they’ve known about true. They just want to add spikes. This is lighter than the Maven. The upper is a little bit softer, more of that sock-l like feel, and the sole is more flexible. Both are great shoes. It just depends what you want out of your golf shoe. So, let me know in the comments. Are you trying the newest from true this
