  1. I just love this guy. Running to CVS with a sick child at home in the AM prior to Final day. The best story. Happy Father's Day JJ!

  2. JJ is great but can we get a new person to ask questions. It’s the US OPEN! The lack of enthusiasm from the introduction person is just awful.

  3. Every once in a while there is a moment in time where all the stars align. An event unfolds that restores everyone's believe that all the hardships of lift can be overcome. This was one of those times. Congratulation J.J. Spaun.

  4. The coverage by NBC was so biased he got so little coverage even while he was leading or tied! It was pathetic and Faxon epitomizes that bias when he said that the call against the leader was a bad one! The rule is very clear if water is not visible on the surface you have to play it as it lies. No ambiguity there.

  5. What a solid guy! Many golfers I play with would have just given up after all those bad breaks. It was like the universe was against was against him and then rewarded him for staying in there,
"If it goes wrong, go down swinging rather than trying steer the shot" – I love that mindset and will apply that to my own game now.

  6. Loved this. And the reporters did a good job too. The questions were relevant – and there's still so much to learn about him.

  7. For all the goodwill Rory has lost since the Masters, JJ has gained. A legendary win for the ages.

  8. Until this year, I had never even heard of J. J. Spaun. Then, all of a sudden he's on multiple tournament leaderboards, even giving Scotty Scheffler a run for the trophy. A genuine Cinderella story and am I glad I got to see it!

  9. What a great guy! Glad he won… his grit and determination especially after his daughter being sick and probably a sleepless night is unparalleled. He dug deep and didn’t give up after that start. Big inspiration! 👏🙌

  10. Congratulations JJ.. Just Fantastic..!!!! What a super likable and humble guy, 'love to see a grafter get rewarded…!' He's a lock in for the Ryder Cup now… i might be supporting the europeans….. Win, lose, or draw… good sportmanship and character comes first… No better guy to represent golf, or should i say great golfand and hard work than JJ. 👍

  11. Supposed to be a way to find the best golfer not the luckiest SOB. US Open is a joke tournament

  12. what a great guy. So happy for him! Every shot he made you could see the weight of it in his eyes….he hung on for dear life and did we many only dream of while proven pros fell off to the grueling conditions. Bravo!

  13. The definition of fortitude. The guy is well spoken, tenacious, humble, and grounded. What a win on Father’s day!

  14. I have been playing this stupid game and invested way too much money all my life and still suck. JJ gives me inspiration to keep trying.

  15. A break late + the goat on your shoulder whispering in your ear was a recipe for success @ the highest level!

    Amazing Job
    Well Done JJ
