Scottish golfer Robert MacIntyre reflected on a very special two weeks as he added the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship crown to the Ryder Cup victory he enjoyed with the European team last weekend. It was MacIntyre’s second victory on home soil following his triumph at the Scottish Open last year.
Yeah, it’s special. I mean, last week was incredible. Um, but yeah, this week’s just as just as important in my career. Um, but yeah, the last two weeks have been special and to crown to crown this week off with a win is yeah, I don’t know what to say. I mean, it’s just it’s unbelievable to get the win last week and then come out here this week and and get the win. Yeah, it’s different. Look, Scottish Open um being our national open is such a big big thing. Um coming close before was special, but I mean look, every everyone is special in a certain way and um yeah, the Dunh Hill um is one of the biggest events on the calendar. So look, if I can keep keep doing what I’m doing, keep winning golf tournaments, doesn’t matter where I win them, um they’re all going to be special.
