Team Europe’s quest to earn their place in history is forged in a shared purpose and sense of belonging chronicled in a poignant video released at the start of Ryder Cup week.

Our Time. Our Place celebrates the pioneering players who each played their part in the four European Teams who were victorious on US soil in 1987, 1995, 2004 and 2012.

So far, 37 players have tasted success in America as part of Team Europe, including Rory McIlroy and Justin Rose from the current 2025 European Team, who along with Captain Luke Donald were part of Europe’s last win at Medinah 13 years ago.

All 37 are honoured and celebrated in the video, whilst Team Europe’s kit for the four practice days at Bethpage this week will also pay homage to each of those away wins.

[Music] You know, only 37 players have ever experienced the euphoria of an away win. [Music] [Applause] For a lifetime, winning away was an impossible dream. I can’t tell you how hard it was. [Music] I mean, any win would have been nice. Things had to change. What we needed was a new energy, someone to set a new tone. Because we were made to feel like secondass citizens, we needed an architect and an icon to give us all a greater purpose. You know, he’d been banned, but Sevy was the key. [Music] In 83 it was there for the taking and we fell just short and he’s done it. But whilst we mocked our tears, our talisman told us. We must celebrate. Now we know we can beat them. And we did. See the side of it. From that moment forth, the badge meant a lot more. 85. Not a million miles away, is it? Shed a generational burden. This is the greatest moment I’ve ever had. Confidence and resilience run through us all. Now, state side, we played without fear. [Music] We always had talent. Now we had a brotherhood. Breaking new ground. Want to know what it feels like to silence a home crowd? It’s unforgettable, especially when it’s your first full point. Yes, that’s a crucial point. And those scenes on Jack’s screen were the foundations for all that followed. The future was ours. At Oak Hill, the mountain to climb was just an obstacle to overcome because we had something the other guys didn’t. her magic. Costa. Even with our backs against the wall, we elevated each other and that made anything possible. And for those guys who might only get one chance, why not make it your legacy? Philip Walton gets the point they needed. The Europeans win the RDER Cup. From comeback drama to total dominance. 2004 confirmed our culture was concrete. With five rookies, we still led from the front. Because the badge doesn’t care who you are. You just asked that you give it your all and we gave it everything. And we all know you cannot be great without the greatness of others. They win the match. They keep the cup. And with Sevi and the soul of our shirts, Madina was our miracle. Together in grief, playing for his legacy, we prove that pressure is a privilege and something we never shy away from. Even with the odds stacked against us, down four points on foreign soil, we never stop believing. And when belief turns pressure into power, those moments become the best of our lives. What a comeback from Europe. [Applause] I’m pretty sure he’s very happy where he is today. The Rder Cup is the best tournament in the world. Because the shirt isn’t just fabric, it’s tradition. It’s honor. It’s defiance. It embodies everything that we stand for. Sometimes the honor is more important than anything else. We don’t play for money. It is the ultimate test of our metal. Oh, I’d love one more chance. So don’t wonder, don’t wait. The chance is yours to take. It’s the greatest week of my life. That’s from Broadway to Beth Page Black, New York is built on the backs of Europeans. It’s a place that we all belong. Sevi would have loved this. One chance into the lion’s den to come out as legends because it’s our time, our place. Just 37 players. Time we added to that. Europeans win the RDER Cup. That little gold trophy is going back across the Atlantic. Our time, [Music] our place. A European success. What a party they’re going to have tonight. Our time, out of place. They did it for only the second time on American soccer. Our time, our place. Isn’t it marvelous? They win the match. They keep the cup. Our time. Our place. Our time. Our place. Our time. Our place.

  1. The sad thing is that The United States is being sabotaged from the inside. We are under attack by morons who are doing the bidding of right wing billionaires. The term "Stupid American" has reached a point now that 77 million of them have become dangerous and destructive. We are currently in the worst situation that we have ever been, and we are gonna be cleaning up this mess for decades. I want to get back to the days of feeling pride for America, and admiring hard work, integrity, skill, and intelligence. The dumpster fire needs to be extinguished and replaced immediately!

  2. I am an amateur golfer from N.Y, and watching all of these guys play this game has been amazing for me, and I have full respect for them..now ..Lets Go U.S.A

  3. Nice video but calm it down. Seve was our Ryder cup. He is gone. These guys need to forge their own path. The US team should win. The European team haven’t got enough.

  9. I guess since the Americans dominate the MAJORS — Europe can focus on a team event and pretend it means more to them then winning a major.

  11. The difference between the USA and Europe could not be clearer: One side comprises players playing for glory – the other side is built from players prepared to die for the team.
