In the fallout from the 2025 Ryder Cup, there has been one question on the minds of American golf fans:

What really went wrong?

We may never get a satisfactory answer to that question, but the fourth season of Netflix’s ‘Full Swing’ is poised to offer golf fans a glimpse behind the dysfunctional curtain.

Though still unconfirmed by Netflix, Sports Business Journal’s Josh Carpenter reported on Monday that a new season of the PGA Tour docu-series is poised to arrive on the streaming giant sometime in 2026. Amid declining ratings, sources told Carpenter that season 4 of ‘Full Swing’ will contain just six episodes (seasons 1 and 2 had eight, while season 3 had seven), but cameras were rolling at the Ryder Cup last month, promising plenty of drama despite the reduced episode order.

Sources told Golf Digest that the original plan for season four was to focus exclusively on the Ryder Cup, as well as a potential Masters special with Rory McIlroy, but it remains unclear what the final structure of the upcoming season will be.

Either way, fans of the series will be relieved to hear that the season is expected to return despite scant details and no official announcement. As Carpenter reports, previous seasons have premiered in February and March. If season 4 follows a similar timeline, we won’t have to wait long to relive one of the most remarkable—and gut-wrenching—years in golf history.
