too much of this game but I’m
going to. Why not. Because the New England Patriots they beat
a team that’s won five straight
division titles. That came in four and zero. That never
turned the ball over. And they
get a game winning drive from their second year quarterback
and Drake Maye. And they take
it to the bills. You know I always thought when Vrabel went
to the Patriots that this was
going to be one of those situations where you got to be
careful because he’s sneaky and
they find ways they’re going to lean on the running game. They
play great defense. They’re
really sound and disciplined and you have to you have to
make sure when you’re playing
against those teams that you have to make sure that you’re
the same way. Well, the Buffalo
Bills had 11 penalties today. A bunch of turnovers three three
turnovers. There you go. And so
in those situations you’re just giving them extra, extra reps
to get better and better. Then
all of a sudden Stefon Diggs is back. He’s back in Buffalo. He
has himself a day. Drake Maye
is moving all around the pocket. They’re running the football I
mean it was just one of those
games where it just felt like a Patriots type of game. How big
is this because of the way it
happened. Here’s Drake Maye getting it done and leading a
game winning drive. Diggs comes
back ten for 146. That’s the most ever by a former bill
against the Buffalo Bills. And
just making huge play after huge play. You know let’s
remember this is a team that
went four and 13 each of the previous two seasons. Their
offensive line was papier mach?.
Their receiver room was not good. That’s being generous.
They addressed those needs.
They did, and they brought in a toughness in their head coach
that said, this is not how
we’re going to do things. We don’t expect a bow down to a
team that’s won five straight
division titles. Well, this is why I say it’s huge. Because
you won in Buffalo, right? Yeah,
Sunday night in Buffalo, you won. To me that’s that’s more
than anything because they got
to come back to your place. Now whenever you guys play. So you
have a you don’t have to go
there anymore. So that’s huge there. And then the confidence
of beating Buffalo and Buffalo
is another another deal that I believe this young team is
going to play with. Right. When
your quarterback is throwing like this, when he’s getting on
his back foot and he sees a guy
open, he’s making plays, or when he scrambles when things
aren’t there and these guys are
working with him, you can play defense and slow down most
teams, but when you have a
playmaker at the quarterback position, it just makes it
tougher on the defense. We’ve
always talked about the greatness of Josh Allen’s
ability to run and throw the
football. Well. Drake Maye showed us that today. Well, we
saw how hard it was on the
bills defense. Let’s remember it was just a year ago where he
took over this team from Jacoby
Brissett. He didn’t start right out of the gate. They were like
we know we don’t have a great
team around him. It took about a month and they were like we
got to make a change now. You
saw flashes of it last year with his talent but there just
wasn’t enough help. Now I think
that they’ve put enough personnel around him, led by
Stefon Diggs and some good
draft picks where you’re like, okay, they can compete. Are
they going to push Buffalo in
your opinion? I don’t know if they’ll push him this year. I
think they have a great chance
to an opportunity to depending on how they play. I think next
year you can kind of go in and
say the Patriots are going to be the team kind of we’ll talk
about Denver a little bit, but
what Denver did last year, I’m saying Bo Nix, I’m seeing that
right now with the Patriots
that they have the wild card type feeling. Yeah I have a
wild card and they may push for
the division. But this is what I will say. Coaching matters.
Yeah patience matters. And when
the Patriots went out and drafted Will Campbell at left
tackle first round pick, they
went and paid Stefon Diggs coming off an ACL. And people
were kind of questioning some
of the things. All this coaching matters. Their coach
really pushed them. And then
Henderson they went and drafted Henderson. They added another
right. So they started adding
pieces to this offense to help their young quarterback. You
have two tight ends. You have 3
or 4 receivers that can go make plays for you. You fixed your
offensive line. You went and
made some, spent some money on some defensive players as well.
To me, when they were making
those moves, I was like, oh, the Patriots are trying to win
now and we’re starting to see
that. And again, that’s why coaching matters. I feel
comfortable spending money on
players. If I know I trust my coach and I know he can put us
in the best situation to be. In
the meantime, with the Buffalo Bills, we were sitting here
thinking, okay, they win this
game, they’re going to end up being five and oh, they’ll run
away with the division. Who
knows? They could be the one seed and it still could end up
going that way. Are you are you
are you going to. Are you acting like that right now.
What do you mean? Like, are you
going to say that bills and all this and that? No, but I’m
saying they’re still going to
be great. Yeah, it’s a bump in the road. Here’s the reigning
MVP Josh Allen. See how he
feels about it right. Just trying to find a rhythm and get
into a good rhythm. Obviously
Dalton Kincaid played fantastic tonight. We got to carry that
over and got to find a way to
to win that one. And but again we shouldn’t have shouldn’t
have even been in it with three
turnovers. So that’s again that’s just that’s just poor
offense. Ooh next week next
Monday night they’re at the Falcons very quickly. Are you
concerned. Not at all. That’s
accountability though. And I love that for them. That’s why
the Buffalo Bills will be great

kind of the outside noise. We
heard there’s a lot of it. They were four and zero. And
everybody’s like man we we
don’t throw the ball enough. We can’t move the ball enough.
Here they do. They threw for

season by Jalen Hurts. People
seem fine. Then they can’t do anything when they. It’s like
they stick on 17. They weren’t
allowed to go any further than that on this day. Is the
outside noise a little too much?
I think there’s inside noise more than anything. I believe
that you have you have. So this
is the problem. I want all our viewers to hear me out here.
They may have too much talent,
right? Because when you have so many, there’s only one football.
So how can I get AJ Brown going
and DeVante Smith going and still get Saquon going. And
then Dallas Goedert going. And
then we have Jahan Dotson who need like there’s only one
football. And so when you have
so many superstars on your roster that need the football
right, that want the football
that can impact the game some, sometimes a game plan is for
them, sometimes it’s not. And
and again, being four and zero I’ll say this to Cris. We want
the Eagles to be what they were
at the end of the season last year. We can’t do that right.
That’s a different team. Last
year’s team is completely different than this one. You
got to allow those guys to kind
of work into it. A new play caller, probably some of those
coaches went left and went to
the Saints with Kellen Moore. So look, my thing is this if
I’m going to say anything to
the Eagles continue to be you. You stumbled. I guarantee you
they bounced back and they’re
ready to roll. Yeah. Let’s remember they didn’t even get
rolling last year until like
week seven right. They were two and two. Had the bye. Barely
beat Cleveland. Then they took
off after that. And they were a totally different team. But
because they’re the champs and
because it’s Philadelphia and because they’ve got big names
and some emotional guys and the
Dodgers beat Philly. So now it’s like all craziness. Look
at you go you’re my two sport
guy up here. I’m just trying to keep the city. Just stay under
wraps. Can we talk about the
Denver Broncos? I think this is an enormous, enormous win for
them. How serious a threat are
they in the AFC? I think they’re I think they’re one of
the biggest threats in the AFC.
I thought last year we were just talking about the Patriots
and kind of how they were kind
of getting their groove. Last year Bo Nix was a rookie and
they were figuring it out. I
remember them in Buffalo and him and Sean Payton screaming
at each other. Right. And now
we see it. It’s the defense though for me that keeps them
in it. You have pass rushers.
You have two corners. You have safeties and linebackers. And
so this defense did an awesome
job today holding Philly to 17 points and not allowing them to
get going. And so for me the
offense will continue to get better. And we’re starting to
see them hit their stride. And
they’re making flash plays. They’ll be more consistent as
the season goes along. They’ll
learn how to work in Dobbins and Harvey and different things
like that. But the way that
defense is playing right now, that’s a championship defense,
yes or no, that’s an AFC
championship defense. I like that yes or no team to beat in
the AFC West. No, not the AFC
West. No it’s still the Chiefs. Wow. We’ll see them on Monday
night against the Jacksonville
Jaguars. Are off to a great three. Yeah Duval County in the
House. This might have been
your game of the year. It was definitely your uniform matchup.
I can’t believe I wasn’t there
for this. What do you mean. I love these uniforms. But you
have to watch on TV and work

who was paralyzed in a car
accident a year ago, was there to see him play for the first
time since the accident. A real
heartwarming story. Fox had some great pictures of them
interacting before the game. It

So Eagles yay nay. Yeah I would still believe that. Eagles
smirking I still believe the
Eagles are the most talented team in the NFC. I don’t I
don’t I don’t care about the
outside noise. I don’t care that they lost today. I could
care less. Jalen hurts who beat
you with his arm in his leg. Saquon Barkley is still Saquon
Barkley. Everyone’s trying to
stop him AJ Brown can win double coverage. Single
coverage. DeVante Smith can do
his thing. Double or single coverage. You got Dallas
Goedert and that defense is
still balling. They stumbled today. So yeah they’re number
one to me okay. The team to
beat I love this. This is my we’re we’re almost a third of
the way through the season okay.
Yeah there’s still a lot of football left. You are trying
to backpedal already before
even released the play. Five teams in the NFC. Yeah I’m
going to put it out there. But
there’s still a lot of football left to play. You don’t like
this because I love it I love

in the NFC. I think they’re
actually I believe they’re the best team. Once they get things
rolling, I think they’ll be
fine. They have a chance to be a Super Bowl contender. Next up
to go to the Detroit Lions. I
think the Detroit Lions are going to get there. They’re
starting to hit their stride,
run the football playing defense. I love Dan Campbell
and his aggressiveness. I love
what they’re doing. They’re looking like the Lions of last
year again right now which I’m
excited about. All right as you see there the Buccaneers we
just saw it Baker Mayfield my
goodness I love the fact that you’re down there. It doesn’t
matter who’s calling the plays.
You’ve had your third play caller in three years and
you’re still lighting it up.
You don’t even have Mike Evans out there. Godwin is working
his way back in. I believe the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still a team that you have to respect
and contend with. And the way,
by the way, their defense didn’t play that well today,
but they have a really good
defense down there. Last but not least, the Niners, even
though they’re currently the
one seed in the NFC and just beat the Rams on the road with
32 guys missing. I just want to
make that point. What do you like why? I’m just stating
facts I’m a facts stater. Yeah
it’s my list. They didn’t even have to be on the list. I could
have put green Bay on there, to
be honest. I really could have put anyone else on there. But
I’m trying to be. I’m trying to
be like a true journalist here. And I put the Niners on there.
I didn’t have to do that at all.

little MJD and the way things
have been going on social media I don’t like it. Hey fill it
