The Complete GPD Golf Simulator Process – From First Call to Final Install
[Music] walk me through the the process of a homeowner that wants to buy a SIM. Gotcha. So, uh the very first thing is we want to learn as much as we can about you and what’s important to you. So, we want to know things like what kind of golfer are you? Why are you even considering a golf sim? Do you want to use this for practice, for play, for entertainment? because how we design the room should be geared towards what you’re looking to get out of it and that has a lot more to do with the layout than you think. So we start with that. We go through a series of questions what kind of personality you like and then from there we always invite local customers to come down to our showroom here. They can try out all this technology and then we can create an estimate for them create some budgets and then uh once we lock in on kind of like what you’re looking for and maybe two or three good options then we get into design phase. So, Steve, if you can kind of just explain after I sort of pass that, hey, here’s the package. Here’s what we’re thinking. You get involved in design, like talk about what comes next. Yeah. So, we’ll either do a site visit or if it’s a new construction job, we’ll have architect plans. Ideally, we’ll want to meet first with the the home builder, the architect, the GC to make sure that we have a good understanding of the space. So either site visit or review of the plans and then from there we’ll do a 3D model and then present it to the homeowner or the client and then we’ll do as many revisions as they uh they’d like. Yeah. I I love that point too. I’ll just jump in because that’s when Steve and I will actually jump in with you as a homeowner and he’ll present you a 3D design and then we kick it back with you live and you can say, “Hey, I like that couch here. No, let’s switch that up. Maybe we do a recess here for a TV or three TVs or two TVs and then we switch different flooring things. And it’s so interactive because it should be custom for you. It’s not just one cookie cutter approach. Oh, here’s the specs. Here’s the SIM. It is custom design every every step of the way. Yep. Exactly. [Music]
