The Aftermath of the Fan Behavior at the Ryder Cup #rydercup

You know, the fan behavior thing is going to be one of the fallouts. I think you’re going to see a a conservative effort to make it that a bigger deal. I’m amazed how reactive they were instead of proactive. We’ve known for 10 years what this what it was going to be like at Beth Page. It’s been one of the talking points ever since it was awarded. Uh and to think that they weren’t more prepared for what was coming um is disappointing. And you know, the irony is it did not help the US side. If that was their intention, it backfired greatly. It it motivated the Europeans. That’s the thing. They still won. It inspired them. They played even better.

Bob Harig of Sports Illustrated joined us today and talked about the fan behavior being one of the legacies of the Ryder Cup and what it means moving forward.
