Guys, welcome back to season two of the major cut here at Olympic Club. They just held the US amateur here, but we are not worried about that. We are worried about the 2012 US Open where the cut was plus 8 in Web Simpson one. Wes, you know this place, not as well as George. Yeah, George already played here. We’ll get that later. But what I like to say before every round, play well, play fair, and play fast. And I’ve always said that, guys. Hey, let’s go. Let’s get right into this major cut. Boom. Hole number one. Usually a par five during the tournament was a par4. So we were playing up about I don’t know 25 yards. So long par4 dog leg right to start out major cut Olympic. How are you so Wow. Wesley Brian. If you guys are new here to the major cut, this is exactly how it works. 18 holes will be on my channel today. 18 holes on the Brian Brothers channel tomorrow. And we got to try and make the cut of plus eight or better. So, if we shoot eight over between two days here at Olympic Club, we do make the cut. These guys have made so many cuts. And you’ve made a couple. I’ve made a couple. You’ve made a few, actually. Yeah. Well, this does feel like a good golf course. Yeah, it does. That was a good start. But look at this. We were we were in the airport right next to each other. Yeah. And we’re I’m sitting I’m standing there next to this guy waiting to board the plane and he’s got on he’s literally I’m putting with the long putter and I’m watching I’m like gosh I’m sorry you have to watch that. But at the same time, I’m thinking to myself, boy, if I just tap this guy on the shoulder right now, it’s going to be one of the greatest reactions. And I couldn’t get myself to do it. So, I just I froze and I just sat there. And eventually, he looks to his left and he like pulls out his phone. He’s like, I’m telling you, I was just watching. I was like, “Don’t worry, man. I know. I know you were watching it.” Hey, shout out to that guy. Whatever his name is, John Eric. Jesus name. Dang it. I’m terrible. That’s on me, but I forget his name. But shout out. Two over. to a drywall part then. [Music] So, this hole in the US Open is a drivable par for I was playing 285, but if you guys remember, Garrett and I played here two years ago. It was over two years ago. It was on the road trip series and Garrett hit a slice here and almost hold it for Eagle. He hit it up to like Yeah, he hit it up to like this close. It was one of the coolest shots. We like I believe Ryder had a drone up in the air, hit it to like this close. He did miss the putt, but the shot is what everyone remembers. It was incredible. If you guys remember that, that was a long time ago. In 2012, it played 288 yards one day. So, I feel like spirit of the game, we should laser it and make sure it plays 288. You get the club length, you can drop it like right here. Closest relief is right here to not be standing on it because you just kind of straddle it. Yeah. And then from that point, you get a club length which is about that far which puts your spot here. So now you’re good. Ball’s in play. Let’s go. That’s huge because now we can have a putt out.
