He did everything from throwing a bullpen session, playing catch in the outfield and getting to take actual batting practice on the field! I don’t know what you can just tell like this is completely different from San Diego. Like we in a different part of the country. I don’t know. You see Chinese trains behind the field. I don’t know. Ricardo Griffin. And what does everybody call you? Coach Rico. When we work out, you your your goal is to try and kill us. My goal is to make you better mentally, physically, but I want to see how far I can push you. So, has there ever been times where you tried to make me throw up during the workout? Yes, 100%. When you don’t clean up your room, where you’re not doing what I tell you to do? You think I’m great at pushing through those workouts or you think I’m just like I’m all right? No, you you are absolutely amazing at pushing through them. How would you describe your son in three words? Generous, self-driven, and a great young man. What animal are you? A bison. Why do you believe that you’re a bison? Bison is um a unique animal, strong, powerful, which is the same thing. So, you think you exemplify a bison? 100%. You think these tenders are straight from the chicken buckets? I hope so. I mean, they look like they pulled them right out of a bucket and not to this team. That’s authentic. That’s authentic. Ah, I’ll take a double, I guess. How’d it feel? Pretty good, actually. I feel like I had a good showing. I’ve always been a line drive hitter. Had a couple good barrels. What do you think the furthest you’ve ever hit a ball? Had it been like 420. It was in playing at Marriott High School, 15 WWBA. That’s probably the furthest ball I’ve ever felt like. I didn’t even feel it come off the barrel. I hit it so hard. on you prospects. But it went foul. It went foul though. I hooked and fouled. But that was probably the first ball I’ve ever hit. It was crazy. [Music] [Music] Jesus. How’s it feel? A couple weeks ago you’re in uh San Diego. Now you’re right here in New York. Two opposite coast hidden bombs. That’s it right there.
