DALLAS – Sophomore Alex Huang shot a 68 on Monday to put himself squarely in contention for the individual title heading into to Tuesday’s final round of the Trinity Forest Invitational.

One day after carding a season-low 70, Huang continued his march up the leaderboard with a 4-under-par 68, which tied the second-best round of his career. After two days of competition, he sits in a tie for sixth place five strokes behind the leader. His best career finish came in last year’s Trinity Forest Invitational where he placed second.
