If you’re looking to improve your game and you’ve got 60 minutes that you can spend on the putting green, here’s the exact practice routine that I want you to go through. So, we’re going to start off with our warm up for about 5 minutes. And all you need is a putting mirror. All we’re going to be doing is our stroke work and a little bit of shoulder alignment, eye alignment, etc. Then, for the next 5 minutes, we’re going to do our start line work. And all we’re going to do is we’re going to do the same putting mirror setup except I want you to put two T’s in front of your golf ball and you’re going to be trying to hit that ball through the T’s. Next up, we’re going to work on our distance control awareness. I’ve spelled distance wrong, but that’s okay. Distance control awareness where we’re just trying to basically have our back swing the same length as our through swing. We’re not trying to have too big of a back swing or too small or too big of a through swing. We’re trying to just make sure that putter is moving back and through in an even amount. So that’s about 10 minutes and all you need is some TE’s. So so far you’ve been practicing for 20 minutes. Then we’re going to come over to here for our green reading. Now all we want to do with our green reads is about 10 minutes you’re going to use either aim point or a three-step system where you’re just trying to find the perfect amount of break for the hole that you’ve chosen. So from there, we’re going to then move into performance. So performance practice is now placing basically everything you you’re doing under pressure. So we’ve got our short parts, three, four, and five foot. Hold all of your three-footers. Once you do that, you can move to 4T. Hold all of your 4footers, then move to 5T. You can choose to make, you know, make maybe make it more difficult and have to hold them all in a row. That’s entirely up to you and your skill level. The next 10 minutes we’re going to be working on our mid-range putts. So again, this is for our par saves or even like our birdie opportunities. I want you to go 5t, 10t, 15t, and 20 foot. Do that about four or five times and that will be a really good uh practice drill or practice performance drill for your putting. And finally, let’s move over to our lag putts where we’re going to be working on our putts from 20T to about 50 foot. Again, only about 10 minutes. We’re going to be doing our distance control and that’s going to give you a perfect putting practice session to improve on the greens, eliminate three putts, and become a better putter.
