He birdied one Johnson, then his third from off the green of two. I mean, just no man’s land back here, but he has been exceptional from off the greens this week. Garrick Higgo had the overnight lead. Johnson for the first time in his PGA Tour career with only 18 holes to play and he loves this first hole. Birdedi all four days. Steven Fisk a long ways away at the second. You know, a rookie in this position for the first time coming out and getting a birdie under your belt early just takes a lot of the heat off. Back to Whley for his fourth birdie in his first five holes to 18 under par earlier today. This is what has the potential to happen right now at the eighth. Doc Redmond, check this out. Rewarded by hitting it down the left side of the fairway and it falls in the side door. A two at the par 48 for Doc. Let’s go. Hey Steve, welcome to the great state of Mississippi. And that was a seven iron from 186 for Walker. And this a good looking shot right here. Wow. Getting better and better to that back hole location. Six playing difficult back into the wind. [Applause] I love the way he flew that up there. That was not that easy. Had a lot of green to work with off an ups slope. If he’s going to break it, he needs to quit hitting it. I think he’d take the win over the uh the the putting record. Good catch on the right side. Nice bounce back after the boat he made on the fourth. But now the players are going to have to react to the first bounce as their approach shots come into the green. Boy, here goes putters. Look solid so far. Solo for now. you keep leaving yourself that distance putt for par, it’s going to it’s going to bite you at some point on especially on Sunday. Yeah, he was kind of half kidding just saying it’s it’s it’s unique to me and nobody else. Now Walker, good shot. Just seems to be in total command of his game. Yeah, 209 yds helping Breeze trying to land us about 195 yards. And coming off that bogey, you’d expect this to ride of the flag. Oh, he took it right at it, guys. Wow. Landed it perfectly into that UPS slope. Rare miss. Holy can’t miss that. It looked like that his line didn’t must not have been a very good strike cuz that line was not rolling. All right, back on track. Nice bounce back. Yep. Gets it right back to 20 under par. [Applause] Coming in low. Should skip, but kept it below the hole the way he’s putting. You don’t want to go over the screen. [Music] Oh, he did not. Let himself a good look for birdie. That’s his fourth birdie on the front side. He makes the turn. Tied for the lead now at 20 under par. He’s got this play just outside right. There is a leaderboard just to the left of the green here at the eighth. And both of these players has looked at the leaderboard. They know the standings. Yep. Calmly poured that one in. Billy Ray with some confidence. And now Steven is within one. [Music] That is going to go in the middle of the lake. It might miss it, right? Nope. That almost looked like a mini driver. It It looked It looked too It looked bigger than a three-wood. I slice now. Higo is second at 10. Comes up a little bit short. Yeah, that was pretty impressive there. Johnson had to flight it down coming off a tight line and able to create a lot of spin there. No, didn’t stay up for him. He needs to he needs to have a nice little chat with himself walking over to that 11th T. He’s playing too good to keep putting himself in these positions. 157 yds. Pin in the middle right hand side. Just can’t miss this green to the right with the big falloff over there. That was tight within two shots of the lead and he has this good look at 13 and he converts. So he’s only one back now. He knew it. He needed to be aggressive with that T-OT. Go. Right on the line that he wanted. I mean that is just beautiful right there. Like you’re not, like Billy Ray said, you’re not even thinking about that flag. That that was as far right as he ever wanted to hit that tied for the lead. Spectacular. So Higo misses his short one. Fisk makes his and suddenly 20 under par is back on top of the leaderboard and it’s a new name. Oh my god, that is so lucky. That’s the old That’s the old chunking run right there. Good birdie, dude. So 15 strikes again. The short par4. [Music] Oh yeah, we’ll say that. What a shot and what a time to do it for Garrick Kigo. He’ll have that to move within one of Steven Fisk. Needs them all then probably needs some help. Tell you what he is doing though. I mean the DP World Tour schedule, he plays both tours. shot Danny. Yes, sir. A birdie at 13. And Danny Walker, he too makes a birdie. So he is now join Steven Fisk at 20 under par. And he gives himself a little bit of life. He’s going to need a lot of help. He’s not going anywhere. I guarantee you he’ll be third shot now for Higo. Ball on the way from 102 yds. Oh, what a beauty. That was a straightforward little pitch. Plenty of green to work with here. Pretty good lie. All right, not bad. It’s going to be a little bit downhill from there. Going to be a pretty quick putt. Oh yeah, he does. Oh, the fist bump as well. He knows the importance of that one. Taking advantage of the par five 14th. It’s amazing. And it’s the greatest accent. It is awesome. Higgo now his second. Yeah, really straightforward little pitch coming back up the slope. This is looking pretty good here. I could wait. That’s really That’s well done. That’s the proper spot to leave. Hey, he goes Birdie. Birdie on 14 and 15. And he gives a little fist bump as he reaches 21 under bar. Get this ball somewhere about 35 ft on the green. Total guess work. And you cannot miss left here. Right at that white post. That’s perfect. That’s exactly what he needed to do. And I’m going to push back a little bit. He’s a young player. He did win on the cornfair tour last year. That is way off the mark. Now Higgo just a little sandwich from 111 yards. That was a little bit left of where I think he ideally wanted it. What a putt. Oh, and it goes in from way. Steven Fisk jets out to 22 under par. So now Higo knows exactly what he needs to do on the other side of the hole. What a putt. Oh man, if that doesn’t pump you up right there getting that reaction. What a putt there by Fist. Now Higo to match it. And he does. What a putting display. Oh, what a shush from Garrick Higgo. Oo, a little gamesmanship. If he gets it in here close, he applies the pressure right to Higot. Oh, like that. What an approach for Steven Fisk as he continues to apply that pressure like you said, Billy Ray. Yeah. 102 ball just below his feet. Can he answer? I mean, what are we watching here from these guys in the last 30 to 45 minutes? Back and forth they go. Just a little bit more difficult. No, Fisk is not missing that one. I’m surprised he didn’t go tap it down. [Music] So now the door is wide open for Fisk to take a one-shot lead. Yep. And Steven Fisk now has the lead all to himself at 23 under par. His best ever finish on the PGA Tour. A tie for fourth. [Music] Likes it. Oh, and he should. He’s trying to seal it. And he may have with that shot right there. Get the hole. Savor the moment, Stephen. You are now a PGA Tour winner for the very first time. Steven Fisk has won the Sanderson Farms Championship, and he did it in style, coming down the stretch. When he needed it most, he came up big. the raw emotion and the struggles that he’s been through this year and to to come out on top. It is it is a feeling unlike anything else. Enjoy it, Mr. Fisk. A very very cool moment again at the Sanderson Farms Championship which seemingly always deliver. Thanks for watching the PGA Tour. To watch more, click here. To subscribe, click here.

  1. Stevie Fisk absolutely calibrated out there! putt on 17 was ridiculous & shot laser beams the whole way in. Higgo was going lights out also, wow 🔥

  2. How can you not like Garrick Higgo?! Dudes a young stud & huge potential. Doesn’t hurt he’s a lefty also 😅 he earned every bit of that sush idc. 10/10 he won that moment, but not the title

  3. Was leaning for Higgo until he did his shush. I hope he learns. He’s young and he’s very good
