Would you like to create effortless flow and freedom in your golf swing without spending hours and hours on the range? Would you also like freedom from all those swing thoughts swirling around in your head? Well, you’re in the right place. In today’s video, I’m going to walk you through the steps to creating the most freedom in your golf swing. Now, listen. If it’s your first lesson with me or you’re new to my channel, I want to make sure that we get one thing done before we get into today’s lesson. I want you to take my free trail hand grip test. The trail hand is responsible for the shape and all the characteristics of your swing. And your grip is your direct and only connection to the club face. So, it’s extremely important. You can find this free grip test by clicking the link in the description below or by visiting my website. Now, let’s get into creating the most freedom of your life. The key concept we’re going to learn today is feeling the weight of the club. This is something Scotty Sheffller does before every single golf shot. You’re going to notice him placing the club up in the air and just feeling the club’s weight. Specifically here in the club head, he has relaxed posture and arms. Most golfers that step on my golf tea are tense up, tight, almost look as if they’re made of stone. You’re not going to feel the club’s weight, and you’re not going to create that effortless, free flowing motion that you’ve always desired, the one that Scotty Sheffller does on every single golf swing. Now, let’s get into the step by-step process of how you’re going to create freedom and turn those muscles from stone into free flowing symphony of movement. Step one is feeling the weight of the club, bouncing that club up and down, making it feel extremely heavy in your hands. The lighter you hold it, the heavier the golf club is going to feel. So, that is step one to make sure you’re not in stone muscle position. If you’re enjoying my videos, but would like a more structured stepby-step approach, as well as interactive mental game training designed to help you shoot your lowest scores and hit your best golf shots, you can subscribe to my app by visiting my website here in the corner of the screen. And I’d love to see you on the inside. Step two, we’re going to learn how to swing our hands and our arms like a symphony. So, let’s get the hands working first. Get them releasing. Get the club just swinging, feeling that weight while we’re doing this. Then we add the arms into it. So you may notice here that my feet are right next to each other. That’s by design. This allows us to simply focus on our hands and our arms and get those swinging. Now I’m going to have you hit some golf shots just like this. Feet together. Just feeling the freedom in your hands and arms. You can feel your right arm bang on the way back. Your left arm bends the way through. Just creating that feeling. So, you’re actually getting a little extra loose beyond the stone feeling and feeling a little bit even more free than you would on an actual golf swing. But, it is good to go to that position because when you actually swing it, you can just tighten up just a little bit. Instead of going from tight and then having to loosen up, I’d rather you go from loose and you can add tension as you go. Okay? So, you can hit some golf shots and you’re going to notice you can really hit some really far golf shots. feet together. Just getting those hands and arms releasing and swinging with a beautiful symphony of motion. It is quite simple. I I just crushed that ball out there and it’s just literally my arms right now. Bingo. Just like that. All right, that’s step two. Step three, all we have to do is simply add the body. So now we’re going to increase the width of our stance a little bit, little by little. So, we’re going to start adding in the legs little by little. Scotty Sheffller also does these continuous motion swings. There are so many benefits from continuous motion practice swings, which means you’re swinging back and forth without stopping. It promotes weight shift. It shallows the golf club. It gets your hips moving first and the club coming down last. It creates freedom in your arms. It creates speed. I could literally go on and on about the benefit of this extremely simple routine that requires no effort and no practice. I’m not asking you to come out here and hit thousands of range buckets of balls. I’m not asking for that. I’m asking for a very small sliver of your time, six seconds. So, there’s a six-second window where you can start to work on this feeling. The six-second window just means three continuous swings back and forth without stopping. Okay, there was my three swings. I’ve created all the feels that I need to step in there and hit a good golf shot. All I have to do is step in. Don’t take a whole lot of time. Just step right up to it and make the swing to create the most effortless golf swing of your life. So, here we go. Three swings. One, two, three. takes three seconds to walk up to it and one second to hit it. Boom. That’s how much time and effort it takes. As a matter of fact, it is only 10 seconds. 6 seconds of swinging, 3 seconds to walk up to it, 1 second to hit it. 10 seconds worth of work to make that one second count. The moment that you hit it, you start taking that swing. It’s all about one second. So, build your swing, your effortless motion step by step. Feel the weight of the club. Start to feel the hands and arms swinging freely with your feet together. Then go ahead and start to add the legs into it. Here’s the legs in symphony with the arms and the hands and the flow and the freedom. One other huge benefit, the continuous motion swings, it doubles as my stance finder routine. So, we don’t want to step into it with stone knees and stone feet really tighten our legs. I see so many people trying to do this, trying to keep their feet intentionally perfectly straight. If you watch golf on TV, you’re going to find a variety of different stance configurations. So, to find the one that’s best for you, just make your three swings. Your feet will go to their happy place if you let them. Just let them go. Okay, feel the freedom. Now you can see what happened to my feet. They’re no longer straight ahead. So start straight ahead and work them to their happy place. Then you keep in your happy place when you just waddle up to it here and then go ahead and hit effortless freedom. Loved it. Your techniques have made a big improvement in my ability to make contact and have the ball go straight. Practice in the backyard can happen with your techniques without going to the range. 5:41
