Blair vs. Lucy | Glam Golf with Blair O’Neal | GolfPass
I’m so excited to play today. Hi friends. I am definitely a bit nervous. [Music] So now some strategy with our double trouble. It will double the distance of the shot. Looks like a really good shot. Woohoo. [Music] Oh my gosh. This is crazy. Feel like I have to have therapy after this one. Wow. Good shot. Now we can turn up the heat. I think I’m gonna call it anyway. So, double trouble. We’re definitely gonna have Guinness after this. I hate to do this. I knew it was coming. She wants to play me. We are having fun. This is a really important part to me. Oh my gosh, that’s crazy. [Music] Hey everyone, I’m Blair O’Neal. Welcome back to another episode of Glam Golf. This is going to be a great one. I’m joined by social media sensation Lucy Robson. Lucy is a model and golfer whose elegance and style shine both on and off the course. And she’s admired for one of the most beautiful, effortless swings you’ll ever see. Based in England, Lucy has also become a social media powerhouse with millions of followers around the world who know her for bringing fashion and flare to the fairways. She’s carved out a unique place in the game, blending competitive golf with a modern sense of style that inspires so many people. And today, we’re lucky to have her here in Northern Ireland for our first 1v1 match of the season, but of course with a twist. [Music] We are in such a beautiful spot. We have brought glam golf to Northern Ireland here at the Riverside Course at Port Stewart Golf Club. It’s going to be a beautiful day, right? We have some sun out, a little bit of breeze. It’s going to be nice. Yeah, the sun’s come out. It was a bit dodgy for a bit, but we’re good to go. We’re holding on for that good weather, but beautiful spot out here nonetheless. So, we have a fun match today. All right, so we are playing a nine-hole one v one. The first eight holes are going to be match play, but going into the ninth hole, every stroke is going to count. So, for example, let’s say you are two up in the match going into nine. That means you have a two-stroke lead going into the ninth hole because it will be stroke play on the ninth hole. But there’s always a twist on Glam Golf. Lucy, you know that, right? Yes. Yeah. I’m telling you, there’s always a twist. So, this is it. All right. We have a chance to call a double trouble card twice. Okay. So, you can yell at double trouble whenever you want. And what this means is if your opponent is 50 yards within the pin, you can call double trouble. They will then have to double the yardage that they are at. So, let’s say you’re at 30 yards, double trouble gets called, you now have a 60 yard shot. Or it could be a five foot putt. Double trouble gets called and you now have a 10-foot putt. So, that adds an element of uh surprise in here, right? There is a kicker to this. We only each get two times to call double trouble. So, use them wisely. Use them strategically because of course we’re playing for the championship lamb golf rings. How do you feel about that? Oh, excited. I definitely need some strategy though. Well, you got to figure out your own strategy because we are competitors now. We are friends, but we are competitors out there on the golf course. But we’re going to have so much fun and it’s going to be a great time. Beautiful golf course, a beautiful day. What more could we ask for? So, I’ve never played golf with Lucy before. I’ve seen her swing of course on social media. I think she has a beautiful swing. Should be a lot of fun. I know she’s super sweet and so I’m looking forward to it. I’m so excited to play today. Play with Blair, play the course. First time in Ireland, but I’m definitely a bit nervous. I haven’t played a ton of Lynx golf, so this to me is really exciting. So, I got to, you know, stay focused shot by shot. You know, we’re about to have a great match. All right, Lucy and I are here at the very first hole, the Riverside Golf Course here at Port Stewart Golf Club. The wind’s blowing dead into us, isn’t it? This is going to make this hole a lot longer. Yeah. All right, so here are the details. We have a 450 yard par five wind into us, dog leg, right? We’ve got some long grass, you know, on both sides of the fairway and a bunker right down the middle. So, it’s gonna It might be a little tough start. So, we’re gonna have to see how this goes. Yeah. Just going to try and hit some shot into the wind. Oh, stay there. That is left. Oh, no. I think I’ll be able to find it though. Yeah, just just in there in the thick stuff. Yeah. My mindset on the first tea right now is just to put a good swing on it, be really focused on my target, and just crush one down the middle. All right, over the sand. Stay there. All right, I saw it bouncing, so I think that’s fine. It’s in short grass, so we’ll see. I don’t really know. We’re going to figure it out. I think I made the whole bit long for myself. Oh yeah, I got it. Got it. Yeah. Oh my gosh, this is crazy. I can barely see my ball. So, I mean, if we get it out, I’ll be happy. Solid contact. Just get the ball out, right at this point. Oh my gosh. Okay. Yeah. All right. It’s out. Out of trouble in the short grass. I’m happy with that, guys. Good out. I mean, that’s really all you can do. How much do you have? 224 into the wind. Really think I’m just going to take everything I have, which is a 3-wood. Yeah. Oh, yeah. All right. I like it. Considering I can’t tell where it finished, but I like it. I think I’m just trying to make a steady swing in that wind, not get blown over. Like solid contact is done. So, just going to hit everything I have because I think I’ve got about 240 in. Oh, no. Way left. Oh, no. Okay, we’ll find it. Try to hit a little cut. I should be okay though. So, it’s par five. It’s par five. So, you guys, it’s hard to find golf balls out here. This grass is so long and um it’s sitting all right, I guess. Could be worse. At least we found it. But okay, good. I’m finding what’s your plan of attack here? Um do we have one? Just make contact with the ball because I can barely see it. All right. Hit and hope. That’s that’s the goal. Oh gosh. Okay. We’re in shorter grass. Yeah, grass. That is crazy. We’re out now. And you’re about pin high, so that’s all right. Just going to hit just right before the green on the fringe. Go. Gosh, that wind is really taking it. Okay, I think this is your hole, Blair. I think I give up on this one. Not going to count it too soon. I feel like you never know out here. Feel like I have to have therapy after this one. Okay. Slight left to right. Very uphill. Just want to get it over that hump. Definitely don’t want it coming back down. All right. I’m actually really happy to be here in two after hitting a 3-wood into the green into the wind. Greenside bunker. A little bit of a down slope. So, I feel like I’m going to aim like just right of the hole and see if I can get this up nice high and soft, but I’m not really sure how the sand’s going to react. So, that’ll be the interesting part. I don’t really mind grain side bunkers that much. Although, I’m not really sure how the ball’s going to come out of this sand. I haven’t hit a sand shot yet. Oh, get up. All right. All right. Not a good shot, but I am out. And I a little bit below the hole, so I will take that. Would you like it out or in? Ah, let’s take it out. Was yours a little slow? Yeah, it was. Yeah, I definitely hit mine quite hard. Oh, go. A. Woo. Okay, I’ll take that. That’s good. Are we doing gimmies on on glam golf? All right, pick it up. All right, thank you. All right, I’m one up through one, but it’s still anyone’s game. So, let’s head to the second hole. Let’s go. Hopefully, the second hole will be a bit better than the first. This has been a quite a traumatic hole for me. Definitely think I need to come back now. Well, I’m realizing now this is real North Ireland golf with this tall grass. We’re not used to this at home. I asked Lucy, “Are you used to this in England?” And she said no. So, uh, with the first hole, she’s in trouble. I know there’s a lot more out there and there’s a lot of golf left to play. So, I’m thinking that long grass might come and play in the future and I’m hoping it’s not me. Second hole out here at Riverside. We have a par three. It’s 134 yards into the wind. The green’s down a little bit, but I think it’s really just figuring out what the number is with the wind, which is what I’m a little bit I was in between clubs. So, I was going between a nine and an eight. I think I’m going to go with an eight. I don’t know if I should tell you that cuz you’re my opponent. Well, I think I’m going to I think I’m going to go with a um a seven. So, see if I’ve guessed correctly on this club here. Oh, I hit it thin, but that actually might be good. That’s literally might be a thing to win. Settle. Yeah, settle. That’s not bad. Oh, what a good miss. I’ve realized from my matches here on Glenn Golf that you want to get an early start. Now, I’ve applied some pressure. I’ve played a good hole. My nerves are calm now, but I definitely love winning the first hole. I’m going to hit seven iron kind of in line with Blair’s ball. [Music] Looks pretty. We at club go. Is that the wind just the wind just grabbed it? I bet. Hi. Yeah, I’ve got a long putt here, Lucy. Settle. Settle. Good. I like that speed. I like that speed. I was like, I’m not sure about the speed, but I like that speed. I’m happy. You can have with that speed. Oh, no. Oh, you pull it for you. I’ll take it. I’ll take it. I guess that’s not in gimme range. Um, not this early in the match, Lucy. But, you know, nos are free, so I appreciate that. Yeah. Never hurts to ask. I’m trying my best. You never know when that backfires on me, you know. Yeah, I’ll remember that. Blair. So, I have a five foot putt for a par. If I don’t make it, I’m too down. So, this is a really important part to make. Oh, and I almost thought about calling double trouble there. I was like, should I? Oh my goodness. That would have been I think I should have. Yeah, after you make that. I think I should have. I completely forgot about double travel. Oh, yeah. Well, I really needed to use it. Glad I glad I reminded her. So, I’ve made the putt. Thank goodness. Stopped the bleeding. Now, we can turn up the heat. Third hole here at Riverside Golf Course. It’s downhill. And guess what? The wind’s still in our face. 360 yards, but that means not much with all this wind. Eventually, hopefully, we’ll have a hole where the wind is going with us. I might tee this down a little bit lower again and then let’s put the glasses on because the sun the clouds are parting for that sun. I know. It’s gorgeous. Beautiful, isn’t it? I know. This view is amazing. Oh, that’s perfect there. Great shot. That’s beautiful. Down mid right side though. I’m going to try and just follow that. There you go. Pretty. Oh, take that. That was right. I took your advice and te a bit lower. Yeah. See? Yeah. I like it. Thank you. Very good. So Lucy, you live in England now, but you actually played college golf in the States and you played in Florida at USF two years and then I transferred to Calpolly St. Louis Swiss and graduated there. Just a different scenery. Yeah, just a different scenery. It was beautiful. But I love both places. Okay. But yeah, it was nice to have the opportunity to play at like Pebble Beach and you know, Montter Bay because I love it there. It wasn’t that far. It was probably like an hour drive from Sandwich to Bispo. So, right. You know, I love still being in golf. Mhm. So then now you just play golf for fun. Yeah. Which is great. Exactly. No pressure. Unlike today though. What? That’s fun. What are you talking about? We’re having fun, right? We are having fun. We are having fun. FL. Do you remember if it was where the flag green was? Oh, yeah. Oh, it is. You see it? Okay. 189. Going to have to hit everything I have with the wind in the face. Oh no. All right, it’s down there. Oh no. Well, maybe it’ll roll down the hill. Yeah, exactly. It’s at least it’s down the hill. Okay. What are you going to 171 into the wind? It is down a little bit, but ah I think I’ve got to play a little more club here because of wind. So I’m going to take a five. No down. H. And I came off it a little bit. I’m hoping I just hit it real short so that I’m still in the short grass. I just hit a bunch bunt downhill. Yeah, look how much I rolled. Am I within 50 yards is the question. Oh, yeah. Great question. What are you 78? Uh 78. 78. Playing 88, I think. Oh no. Go, go, go, go. All right, we’re on. I just just grabbed it. Yeah, that we’re on now. All right. [Music] Uh, we are looking at uh 40 yard shot. The pins in the back of the the green. I’m actually thinking at this point that Lucy is going to call double trouble on me. I’ve got my 54. I’m thinking I want to land it like halfway there and let it roll out. Okay. Oh, settle, settle, settle, sit, sit. Oh, good shot from there. That was really good. I’ll take it. I just wasn’t sure what it was going to do once it hit the green. No, that was really good. And also, I was afraid to tell her it was 40 yards cuz I thought she was going to double trouble me. I just don’t know when the good strategy. That’s the thing cuz I feel like you don’t want to waste it. Yeah, that’s what I feel like too. So, I feel like it’s so early. Okay, so we got a major sloping putt here. Double sloper. Just going to go left to right first, then right to left. Just got to get the speed right. [Music] Go, go, go, go, go. Come on. Oh, it was the right line. A little slow, huh? Needed a little more. Yeah. All right. All right. I don’t see a ton in this putt, but I think it might be a little Gosh, I want to say it breaks a little to the right, but I don’t know if this water here is going to hold it up. So, I feel like I can make this putt, but um there’s still some work to be done. Oh, good putt. That’s good. That was an opportunity there that I, you know, could have had to to make a good putt and just didn’t go in. Ah, it did break right like I thought. The water did not hold it up. It’s got to go in. [Music] No. Oh, here. Pick it up. All right, we’re on three green. I’m two up through three. Still a lot of golf to be played. Still noble no double troubles have been called. Yeah. So, let’s go to the fourth. Feel like I’ve got all my bad shots out now. You got all your bad shots out. She’s She’s good. She’s good. So, at this point, I’m two up. I’m feeling pretty good. I’ve got a little bit of leverage on her right now. So, now I’m thinking like when am I going to use the double trouble, you know, cards and thinking, when’s the best time to do that? So, but I know I’ve still got those in my back pocket if I if I happen to need them. All right, Lucy. The fourth hole, par three, 157 yards. And you’ll never guess that the wind’s into us. I know. Oh, what are you hitting? So, I am So, 157 into the wind. Ah, I’m between a six and a five. I think I’m going to go with the five. So, I’m thinking, okay, I’m going to make sure I play enough club. I want to be aggressive. And I know that pin’s a little bit in the back of the green. And with that wind, I’m fighting the wind going into the pin. So, I’m thinking I’m going to be aggressive. I’m going to take more club here for sure. I made such a good swing. The swing felt so good. It’s, you know, soaring right at the pin. The wind calmed down. Oh, no. The wind calmed down. The wind calmed down. No, I hit that so good. That’s got to be in the water. Yeah, I was going to hit my uh Isn’t that disappointing, Lucy? Shot. Yeah, I was going to let hit the longer. Does that make you sad? Oh, I’m I’m gonna hit my uh shorter club now though. Okay. After seeing that her favorite club Yeah. is in her hands, folks. Oh, no. Couldn’t see it. Okay. Just short, just little short left, but you’re fine. You’re in the You’re in the short grass. I’m not in the short grass, though. Oh, so Blair hit over the green, but I am just short of the green. And I think I have a slight advantage here. So, got to get make the most of this. Going to hit a 60° just on the left side of the pen. Set. Set. Oh gosh. Is it? Oh no. It’s a bit faster than I thought it would be. It’s all right though. We’re putting blur. Blair. Yeah. I hate to do this. I knew this was going to happen, but I’m too down. Oh my gosh. do this to you, but you know what you got to do. I definitely feel a bit guilty doing this to her, but I think this is what I got to do to secure a win. So Lucy, of course, gives me the double trouble. I knew it was coming. I knew it was coming, but I was in trouble, so I wasn’t sure if she would be like, “Oh, that’s enough trouble, you know, for her to get by or she was really going to give it to me.” That’s a bit mean of me. She wants to play mean. So now I have 46 yards behind a hill. Still in the long grass. I mean, it was probably a smart play call. Yeah, she’s waving. Yeah. Hi, friend. I’ll be way back here. I can’t hear you. Yeah, I figured. Really cannot see the green here. So, I can just see the top of the pin and that’s it. Going to be the best shot of my life right here. Oh, settle. Settle. It’s like a really good shot. Sit. Sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, settle. Oh, it really wasn’t that bad of a shot. Like, it came out pretty clean, but uh came out hot. So, I think my strategy definitely paid off. She’s gone over the green, and I definitely have a small putt for par. I think I’ve got this in the bag. Oh, be good. Be good. Settle. Settle. Settle. Settle. Set. All right. Okay. So, good chat. So, I hit my chip shot to about 4 feet. And so, now I’m thinking, you know, if Lucy does do something crazy here, she’s going to win this hole. I don’t want that to happen. She’s putting. What are you thinking? [Laughter] Ah, I want to call you double trouble, but I don’t know. It seems too close. I don’t know. I think I’m going to call it anyway. So, double trouble. All right, double trouble. One, two, three, four, five. I’m surprised that Blair called double trouble me. It wasn’t even that long of a putt, but I do now have to get my wedge out instead of my putter. So, definitely going to make the shot a bit harder. Oh, she hit it good. Oh, wow. Good shot. She almost made it. Oh, nice. I thought for a second that was a good chip. All right, pressure’s on. I have to make this, right? Yeah. That’s good. Right. We’re friendly, right? Uh I don’t know. I’ll let you know after I make this one. Okay. Up the hill. [Music] So, I’ve just missed my putt, which is frustrating. And I’m thinking I wasted a double trouble. Uh, this is not the smartest decision and not the best playing right at this moment. And no. So you have to make this to win the hole. Yeah, basically. All right. I give it to you, but I don’t want to cut you off the satisfaction of really giving it to me. Thank you. Little bit left, right. Oh, that was so slow. Normally, I’m not super nervous of a twoft putt, but I definitely feel the nerve over this one. Oh my god. Wow. The pressure. Oh no. Wow. All right, Lucy. Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Woo! I think the Irish golfing guards helped me on that one. I know. I can’t believe I’ve lost the opportunity to win the hole. That was my shot of definitely getting one back and I blew it. Hey, and if you guys are enjoying this episode, make sure to like, comment. I love to see all your comments and make sure that you are subscribed for all the glam golf episodes coming up. Fifth hole here, par4, 320 yards into the wind. And uh I don’t see a ton down there. It looks like it’s just a little left to right. Yep. We got a little bit of golf left to play. And we’re both down a uh double trouble. Yeah, only one one left now. Left. Got to use it wisely. We’ve got to use it wisely. So, all right. I think I’m just going to go over the yellow over the yellow flag. Yeah. Beautiful. Stay right. It’s perfect. I don’t know what’s down there, though. Okay. Hopefully, it’s good. Yeah, that looks ready, guys. Thank you. Going to try and do the same. Oh, stay right. Oh, it’s got left again. Not the grass. All right, keep an eye on that line. Oh no. I think I should be able to find it. Normally, I can count on my drives going really consistent and straight, but today I have like a double cross hook, so it’s definitely hard to work with. It’s sitting up good back in the considering it’s sitting up pretty decent considering, you know, it’s not bad. I’ll take it. That’s not at all. Clip it up. So, you’re hitting your favorite club again? Yeah. Hopefully, it’s your loves a hybrid. Hopefully, it’s my favorite club after this. She’s like, I’ll let you know. Yeah. Oh, no. Okay, it’s out. Don’t kick over there. I think it’s okay. Yeah, that’s fine. Okay, stay in that line is fine. I’ll take that. [Music] 98 yards. I think this should be a perfect gap wedge cuz I hit this typically 105 a little left of the pen on the dance floor. Hitting my 60° hopefully just land it just beyond the fringe. Have it trickle down. Oh, all right. Go. I’ll take it. Good shot there. Nice. So, do you give your boyfriend lessons or like help him at all with his golf game? I try to. Does he listen? No. Yeah, that’s how it works. Yeah. What about you? Yeah. Yeah. It’s the same thing. It’s kind of like when you’re a kid and you take lessons from somebody. Your parents try to, you know, whoever it is in your family tries to give you tips and you don’t listen to them. Then you go get a lesson from somebody else and they’re like, “I told you Yeah, to do that. I told you the exact same thing.” But you listen to them and not me. They just say it in a different way. Yeah. If anything, it’s got to move a little right. But I don’t see a ton. Good stroke here. [Music] Go. Go. Good. Part broke a little less than I thought. That’s all good. Oh, good. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you. So, I’ve got a 10 foot putt per pie the hole and I really need to make it. It’s a must make. It’s a big putt, Lucy. Nice big pot. Well, at least you got a little look at mine. Yeah. Actually, didn’t Yeah, I should have looked at him a bit more. Were you paying attention? She’s like, I actually didn’t see where it did. [Music] Oh, woohoo. What a good punch. Are you kidding me? Watch. Nice. Good. Finally made one. Solid. Oh, shaking in my boots. I’m happy I’ve made this putt. I can do it today. Just got to keep going. We’re here at Riverside Golf Course at Port Stewart Golf Club and uh we’re on the 6T box and the sun just came out. A little bit of breeze. We have a par five. Lucy just made a clutch putt. How good was that? This hole is 475 yards. Dog leg left. It is 225 to carry this first bunker up here on the left. I’m still two up. Yeah. So, you have one on. So, uh I’m going to go just right of the stick down there. Beautiful shot. Thank you. I like that one. No, that’s Yeah. Okay. Love that. Good shot. It’s beautiful out here. Nice. Good swing there. All right, we’ll take it. Pretty. Yeah. All right. 283. I think I can just hit three down there. And that sounded good. Good swing there. All right. Yeah, that’s what you wanted, right? I could play it smart and just lay something up a little bit short of that sand because this could go in the sand, too. Should I just go after it? I’ve got a two-stroke lead. I think so. Let’s be fun. Yeah, I think so. Stay left. Stay left. Stay left. I will take that. Good, isn’t it? Yeah, I will take that. Is that on? No, it’s short. Okay, so we’re 131. So, I’m just going to hit a little smooth 79. Oh no. Get down. Get down. Oh, it’s a nightmare. That’s gone. Well, I definitely didn’t mean to hit that shot that far left. It’s in the hazard. It’s not looking good right now. I think this is going to be your hole again. We’ll see. We’ll see. [Music] I’m 36 yards, so I could double trouble. You could I’m 36 yards, so she could I don’t know if it would be worth it. She could double trouble. Don’t know if it would be worth it on this one. Settle. Settle. Good line. Settle. Okay. I was waiting to see if you’re going to call McDonald trouble. I know. I just don’t think it would be a good move. Yeah, you were going back and forth. Yeah. Guy, guy, guy, guy. Oh, no. All right, Lucy lies five. I’m putting four. So, just want to get a good speed here. Good, good stroke. Go, go, go, go. Oh my gosh, it looks so short. Really need to make this. It didn’t turn in and Oh, nice pot. Oh, thank you. All right, three up. Three to go. So, I’m three down, three to play. But if I win the next two holes, she’s only got a one shot lead going down the last. Really, anything can happen at the end. So, I want to do my best to try to keep this lead going into the ninth hole. Um, I feel like the ninth hole could get tricky as well. There might be some riskreward is what I’ve heard. So, it’s going to get interesting. [Music] Seventh Tox out here, par 4, 385 yards. There is a burm that runs across the fairway and that’s at 265. So, we got to watch out for that. It looks beautiful. Let’s see what’s ahead of us. We finally have some wind downhill. I’m like, what? How do I even club myself here now? Now I’ve got to, you know, take off some distance and uh, you know, thinking I got to pick the right club. Yeah. Beautiful. Great shot of the white steak. Okay, I will take it. Thank you. All right. All right. It’s running. It’s down there. It’s down there. She’s like, I’m down the middle and it’s running. Nice. I think I’m just going to go straight at it. Really? Maybe a little bit on the right hand side. I like the bunker. Yeah. So, a lot more room on the right side. Looks good. Good shot there. Solid. Stay right. Could you see it come down? I couldn’t see it. I couldn’t see it come down. I mean, it sounded good, but yeah, I was flirting a little bit with the BB. I was flirting a little bit. Always having a little flat. Now I see this is a BM. 13 134 136 134 134 Oh, we have wind with us. Yeah. So, now I’ve really got to figure out the calculations here of what am I going to hit because I actually have wind with me. So, I’m going to go with a pitching wedge. If I hit just a good stock pitching wedge here, that looks good. Be on it. Be good. We will see. Really good. Okay. Thank you. I hit the shot and I hit it about 5T. It was a great swing. Great shot. It was a fun shot to hit. All right. I’m just waiting for you to double. She’s giving me She’s giving me the look like I’m going to double trouble her, but I’m not. Oh, good. All right. She thought I was going to double trouble her. My plan is don’t tell her. Trying to hold out for nine so I can keep it in my back pocket. So that’s the plan. Slightly right to left. It’s not moving that much. Just a ball out, I think. Door’s open. So, you are in for. I’m putting for three. And you’re right. Yeah. You’re not going to three pop from there. I’m thinking if she gives me double trouble right now, then there’s one out the window. I’m like, use it up. Let’s go. So, what do you want to do? It’s up to you. No, I don’t think so. No. So, no. What? No double trouble. No double trouble. No. And it is kind of hard. There is technique in deciding when to use double trouble cuz when you’re on the spot, you just don’t know. Should I do it now or should I wait? Like you don’t want to use one and you regret it later. Oh, right on the edge. That’s right. Good pop. Thank you. I wanted it, but that’s all right. It’s not looking good for me. We need lots of Guinness after this. We need lots of Guinness. We’re definitely going to have, but the last hole is stroke play. You just never know. I’m four down, but we still have one more hole of match play that I can take one down from her lead on the eighth T box here. This is the last match play hole. Right now, I’m four up in the match. So, if you win this hole, then I would only be three up going into hole number nine, which is all stroke play. So, we got a par4 here into the wind. Yep. 340 yards. Uh, I think fire away here. Just I just want to try to crush this down the middle. Beauty. There we go. Thank you. Amazing shot. Okay. Perfect. Thank you. around the center. See that? Yeah. Very nice. All right. I think just on the left side. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. Bouncing. Yeah. All right. Our drives are neck and neck. You know, she’s just to the left of me and it’s an approach shot off. So, wow. The wind is really picking up now. Oh, no. God. Oh. Oh, you just got stuck. Yeah. At this point in the game, I just want to hit a good swing here on my approach shot. I’m just trying to get myself on the dance floor. Oh, go. Please be nice to me, wind. Let it be. Oh, I hit that pretty. That’s all right, though. Solid. And so, I hit it to 20 ft, which possibly make a birdie, but from 20 ft there, I’m feeling confident I’m going to make a par. Go, go, go, go. Okay. All right. It’s on. That’s okay. It’s still going. It’s on. I know it’s hard. I I feel like on that type of shot, I probably would have like maybe taken a little bit more and then hit more of a flighted shot. Yeah. But it’s like all preference to and what you’re numbers, you know? Exactly. All right. Line two up the hill. Just make sure I give this a chance to get it there. I don’t want to leave this short. Give it a look. Do it. Oh, all right. I like that speed at least. Oh, you’re good. You’re good. Nice pot. Thank you. It’s not looking good for me. We better hope for a hurricane. It’s been a bit last one. Oh no. All right, I’m five up, right? Oh my gosh. Five up going into number nine. Hey, and if you guys are enjoying this episode, make sure to like, comment. I love to see all your comments. And make sure that you are subscribed for all the glam golf episodes coming up. [Music] The final hole here. I am five up. That means I have a five-stroke lead going into this hole. But the ninth hole right now is stroke play. So par four, little dog laying right. It’s 248 yards, but this is the kicker. There’s a burm that runs across the front of the green. So it’s a bit of a riskreward here to get up there and to stay out of that burm. Stay out of the trouble. Yeah. So, who knows? I’m a driver. What do you got? I’m just following you. I’m just following you. Well, um let’s hope I hit this one good then since you’re following me. Yeah, I I know I’ve got a five shot lead, so I’m thinking, okay, I cannot not go for this, right? We’ve got to do something cool here. Do something fun here. Oh, it looks good, but I have no idea about the distance with the burm. Oh my gosh. What? What did I hit? I hit the burm. That is crazy. I assume that helped me. I’m not real sure, but that was a big bounce. Holy cow. Are you kidding me? I hit such a good shot. The swing felt really nice and it’s coming down. I was like, “Okay, I like the the the ball shape of it.” The ball’s coming down and just bounces up so high. We hear this loud like it hit concrete or whatever it was. And my first thought is, “What did that just hit?” Like that’s crazy for it to hit perfectly in there in the concrete in the middle and then come out. I mean, who knows? Who knows where that thing could have gone? That’s wild. Great shot. At this point, I have nothing to lose. I’m taking driver out and I’m going for the green. Good swing. All right. I think that’s fine. All right. Looks good. I’ll take it. Nice shot. I feel like that was a good one. Yeah. I feel like that was the best shot I had her best shot. She saved the best for the last for the last hole. [Music] I’m waiting for you to do it. But I don’t know if you’re going to double trouble me or not. Not double troubling you yet. Oh, beauty. So, I hit a really good pitch. It is my first birdie opportunity of the day. Much needed by now. Straight downhill. I’m sitting here about 20 yards and I’m over the green and I’m thinking for sure Lucy is going to give me double trouble here. Settle settle. Oh, dang. It looked terrible. That was so tough. I didn’t hit the greatest shot. It went past the pin. And at that point, I was just happy that it stopped on the green. Uh because I didn’t hit it exactly how I wanted to by any means. Back up the hill a little right to left. So Blair hits one thin over the green. And I think this might be an opportunity for me, but maybe I should make it even harder for her on the next shot. [Music] Oh, go. It’s a good part. Thank you. So, you know what you got to do, but you know what you got to do. Yes, I do. One, two. So, my strategy for this was Blair is very good at lag putting and I’ I’ve seen her miss a couple shorter putts. So, my strategy is hopefully she’ll miss her shorter part over a lag part. Okay. I haven’t heard anything from me yet. Um, yeah, you’re going to have double trouble, too. Okay. Yeah. I mean, I had to I can’t leave a double trouble just out there for not being used. I can’t waste a double trouble. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. All righty. That was a good chip though back there. My first time for putting for a birdie and and I took it away from you. turn. Oh, it didn’t turn at all. Now I have about a 4-footer. I’m feeling good over this putt. It’s a little right to left. I feel like I’m, you know, kind of getting a feel for the greens. I just pick my line and I want to make a good stroke. Oh, great. Even with the double treble. Oh, thank you. So fun playing with you. Oh, we’ll get to know you a little more. So, it definitely wasn’t my finest at golf today, but I had the best time with Blair meeting her. She was so kind. Enjoyed a beautiful course as well. All right, Lucy, you didn’t have your best stuff today. Was to my advantage. So, I guess I’m just going to have to go ahead and ring myself the championship glam golf ring. Beautiful. It is pretty, isn’t it? Oh, well, maybe we’ll have a rematch one day. Yeah, definitely not my finest stuff today, but we had a fun time. But it was so much fun hanging out, spending some time with you, getting to know you better, and of course, we played a beautiful course here in Northern Ireland. Thank you so much to Port Stewart Golf Club, Riverside Golf Course. It was amazing out here. We had a great time, and I’m just loving this beautiful North Ireland weather. Yeah. Time for a Guinness. Time for a Guinness. We’re going to go do a little cheers. And thank you all for watching Glam Golf. And make sure to stay tuned for the next one. See you then. [Music]

Windy day 🎉
Cool to see a match in Ireland. Shame it wasn't more competitive.
