The Missouri women’s golf team continues its season with play in the Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational in Lawrence, Kansas on Monday, October 6.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2025 Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational is a two-day tournament, playing 36 holes on Monday, with 18 holes of play on Tuesday for a total of 54 holes. Both days will begin with 8 to 9:30 a.m. tee times.
The 2025 field consists of teams from 12 different schools, including Mizzou. The Tigers will compete alongside Delaware St. Thomas, Ball State, Kansas, Arkansas State, CSU Fullerton, Drake, California Baptist, UC Davis, Tarleton State, Central Arkansas, Notre Dame and UC Irvine.
The par-71 course at Lawrence Country Club measures 6,095 yards in length.
LAST TIME OUT
Mizzou continues its season following a seventh-place finish at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational in a field of 10 teams, improving by two spots from last season. MU was led by top-15 finishes from junior Fleur van Beek and senior Addie Dobson.
HOT START
The Tigers enter this tournament following a strong start to the season, highlighted by two team titles in the first three tournaments. Four different Tigers have recorded top-five finishes in the first three tournaments, including two top-fives and an individual title from freshman Ebba Liljeberg.
