PGA Tour 2K25 – Lake Waseosa Golf Resort

Good day golfers. Sand Graer here. Today’s play through Lake Wasiosa Golf Resort by Seb K. His entry into the 2025 CC design competition. Let’s have a look at it. Pass 72. Fur and greens are firm running at A4. It’s a clear morning. Three sets of TE’s and four pins. We’re going to play black tea pins set four. Let’s head out to the first. But in the meantime, don’t forget to like and subscribe. Well, hello there. Well, hello. My name is John McCarthy. I’d like to welcome you to Okay. Well, what do we got? First of all, let’s rip it up and have a look around. First tea looks very cool. Wooded area. All right, let’s do the golf. Little hike out to the clubhouse, but that’s not too bad. Clubhouse is looking very cool. Little door. Who doesn’t love a door? Van, what’s in the van? Nothing. These designers in there, no entries into the van’s business. Okay, there it is. Look at that. Very nice looking golf course out there with the boats. Hey, what happened to that? Why is there Oh, dear. Have to head a bit further down the right with our leaning tea. Not sure where this one’s going to end up. Oh, don’t be like that, Johnny. It’s in the first cut. And second shot here on the first. Oh, 14 mph. this one out. I don’t know if you’re going to make this. Oh, it’s a good line. That was just a little unlucky. Setting up now in the bunker. Let’s see what you got. Oh, I know what we’ve got. And here we are just in this uh green side rough. All right. Well, that’s four of my shots I’ve used. Hey, there it is. Kick it. Starting things off at He has a box around his first number. Given a little bit of time, we can shave. It’s only one. Well, see if you can use the tail on this hole. Oh, he’s hit a little draw. Might be a little aggressive. Yep, it is. It’s deep. Oh, unfortunately. Oh, that is out of bounds. Straight over. Oh, no. That one. Yeah, we got a little higher. Oh, that’s pure. When you do that the first time, Gary, you big goose. That’s very unc uncalled for. Okay, here’s your fourth. Oh, that’s coming around beautifully. Okay, on the green safely. We are on the green. This one’s from around 21 ft. Oh, man. This one’s one’s breaking pretty hard to the left. It is, isn’t it? Oh. Oh, that’s unlucky. And this one will be for double bogey. Oh, damn. And that’ll leave you at Oh, nice clock though. I like that. Okay, it’s a par three. Third hole in front of us. Three. And it’s uphill into a stiffening breeze. He’s leaning. He’s on. He’s on. He’s on. He’s off. That’s okay. Don’t worry about it. We’ll be on the green eventually. Oh. All right. Let’s do it. This to save par. Oh, that is a vicious green. Yay. Over par. Here we go. Okay, we’re good now. Fourth hole. Let’s go. Uhoh. Hit it, wind. Oh, that’s not hitting it. Okay, setting up in the bunker here. Take an extra club. Okay, we know you can hit it. Well, at least you’re on the green. We’re not in that beach. This next Wow, that is one big retaining wall. See what that put looks like. Good so far. Oh, so close. Almost drained that one for the birdie. Okay, we’ll take a back to back pars. Here we come. Look at the scorecard. We’ve stopped the bleeding of a par for you. And let’s let this fly here on the fifth. Oh, we got to go close to these trees around the landing area in this fairway. That’s a nice line. Oh, did that catch a tree? Well done. Yep. Okay, that green is well below us, so we might need a little less club. I am going to take one less club, Johnny, and then hit a big old You got to be careful of that. That’s all right, though. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. Whoa. Well, missed the green there on that one. Roll it up. Robbed. Robbed. You lobbed. Okay. For the I don’t have a robot got a carry. And that’ll do. And you’re three over at the moment. And the six hole. We have a par. Uhoh. Is that a bit tight? Hit it. Wind. No, it’s coming back. Yes. Beautiful. Was tidy. Tidy. I like that. Oh, there’s no way of getting there in this breeze. Oh, not when you hit it over there either. That’s uh that’s not good. Oh no, there’s rocks and water. That one. Uh yeah, that’s in the water. That’s out of bounds. Got to go again. Okay, we’re going up to a driver. That’s bold. Using the driver off the fairway. Should have done that the first time. Oh, it is pure. It’s all downhill. So, we’re going to use the super flop. Oh, and then just shoot one out to the right. You can’t believe it. Setting up a 12T putt here. Let’s have a look at the green. I thought we did that. Oh yeah, look at that. Those rocks are nasty. I think they should be in play because first of all, you’re probably not going to stop on it cuz you’re always going to go in the water. And second, you can play frost. You are sitting at four over on the round and we are working with the tailwind on this hole. Yes, we are. Oh, that’s a lovely little swing. Let’s go. Kick right. Kick right. Kick right. and get in or get up. Gee, they just stop. I think I’ll let your putting do the talking here. My putting doesn’t talk. It’s Marcel Maro. Oh my. And got a bit of And right now you sit at four over par. And now the eighth hole. We got a par five. Okay. Oh, it’s a little blocky, but we’re in the spot. Right in the middle. Oh, gee whiz. Oh, he’s hit an absolute peach. Minus 3%. Little pitch. That’s looking good. Sit. Oh no. Robbery robbery. Me too. Lining up for the 13. Get out the trees. Said I’m just uh Gary’s starting to wonder if he’s on the wrong course. CC a little bit firm for CC. Currently three over the day. And this is a short par. Gary needs a couple of shots. See if we can get one back here. Oh, he’s hit a peach. No, don’t. Okay, hole number nine. Shot number two. Let’s see what you got. He’s going for it. Come on, Gary. You can line. Oh, he loves it. And yes, you got the to go from the fringe. Gets the birdie from the fringe. Let’s have a look at the green. Yeah, Barry just appears. Oh, he’s happy about that. All right, you’re sitting at two over. Careful out there. There we got a tailwind blowing. Tailwind. Don’t you be worried about a tailwind. Gary’s got this. Bends it around the corner. Catches the downs slope. Runs it out to 350. Okay, about 105 left to go. Oh, then he launches a beautiful wedge straight up in the air. Big hop. Nicely done. Had the right club there. And that’s delightful. And this one is for Gary’s feeling feeling something there. Little punchy. Bit like Gary gets a little punchy. Give him a few drinks. Look at that. Three birdies. He’s come on. He’s on his way back, baby. Currently. All right. Good luck. We have a par four here on the 11th hole. Oh, another big boomer. Oh, and he’s left that high side. Is it going to come down? It is. Oh no, he’s gone into the rough. Disappointing Gary setting up here. Green side. We would have uh We’re not going to pitch it. We are going to long flop it. Where’s the spin? This put is just around 12 ft. It is a gorgeous little hole. Get out of the trees. Could be a good one. Oh, it is. Gary’s on fire. Fourth birdie so far. Back to even now. Hang on, Gary. All right. Hang on. And get home. Going down to even par and teeing it up now on the 12th. Oh, little bit of a splitzky. Seeing as it’s a splitzky, we’ll see what we can do. Oh, first cut. Not too bad. I reckon we’re okay to hit it straight at the sun. Made it just onto the cut. Yes, shots about 75 yards to the pin into a 14. So, we’re going to just take a little bit extra club. Hit an absolute peach. That’s a safe shy, but that’s okay. This one’s a 21footer. Just does a little bit at the end. Put it on the right lip. Oh, it’s gone right over the right lip. All right, par putt. Well, that is a little disappointing. All right, let’s head to the hole. So, well, and you’re at even par downhill. All right, over to number 13. And this one’s a par four. Te it high and let it fly. Oh my. You caught that one. Look at it go. True fitty again. This one’s about 135 to the pin. We’re going to take a club out of this 15 mph down wind downhill down everything. Oh, and a big hop. Gee whiz, that was firm. That’ll do for the approach. I think I went over the flag. This one’s about 15 ft. No, that’s low. Almost. Gary, come on, Gary. At least hit the hole. You are currently sitting right at even power. Okay, uphill into the wind. Head wind to deal with. Oh, it’s tight, but it might be okay. Nope, just off. All right, here’s our second shot on the 14th. Little pitch. Way to chip that one. Oh, that was delightful. This one’s just three feet in geometric greens. Bit of a Seb thing. Okay, let’s take a look at this next hole now. Come on, Gary. Par is your score. All right, here we go. 15 down the left edge. Get it down the left side. Looking okay. Oh, he’s hit that beautifully. Get it out there. We’ve got about 235 from here. 235. We’re going to take one out of it cuz we are right on the number. Oh yeah, lucky we did. That’s still half a club long. I tell you what, that was some uh that’s some great golf I just saw in this hole. Next putt for eagle. Okay, how’s an eagle sound? Because if you sink this, sounds good. Starting this way out to the right. Let’s see it turn. And that’s not a bad effort. The one in punch for birdie. He’s into the red. Go Gary. 16th. We got a par three. G whiz. Might take two clubs uphill into the wind. Oh, I’m glad we did. Gee whiz. And he just got on the front edge. A very long putt to contain more that nasty. This putt’s going uphill and I think it’s going to the right as well. Nasty false front on that one. That’s just right across the face. Well done. You got most of the way there. Most of the way is not good enough. Okay, moving on to the next, but we’ll take it. And after that hole, you’re currently one under. One under. Here we come, baby. Blowing left to right on this one. We’re just going to put it down the left. Let the breeze bring it back. Oh, it’s pure. And here’s our second shot on the 17th. Uhoh, the breeze is going to blow that. This is leaning to the right. Oh, it’s coming back off the hill. No, it’s not. You missed the green on that one. He feels confident. Oh, it’s not. Almost went down. You could drop this. It could save par. All right, we’re a chance here, Johnny. Yep. Gary feels good through 17. Can he hold on? Just needs a par on the last. Oh dear. And best of luck as you bring this. Oh, you always just aim at the trees. Final hole of this one. Whatever you aim at, you can’t hit. Well done. Oh, and he’s just snuck it onto the fairway. Now with an elevated green to deal with extra club two. Get it all the way to the back half. Well, right idea from the cup. There we are. Right in front of the club. Snapping. You reckon John? Let’s see what that looks like. Look at this thing. Still on track. Oh, I can’t believe kicks in for a par. Finishes his round. And hope you enjoyed it. If you did, like, subscribe, tell your friends, and we’ll see you in the next one. [Music]
