LEXINGTON, Ky. – The No. 6-ranked Vanderbilt men’s golf team is sending a trio of individuals to the Bluegrass State this week to participate in the 2025 Cullan Brown Collegiate at the Lexington Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. Meanwhile, junior Carlos Astiazaran heads to Singapore to represent Mexico at the 2025 World Team Amateur Championships, Wednesday-Saturday.
Tournament Format and Schedule
The Cullan Brown Collegiate, hosted by Kentucky, is a 54-hole stroke play tournament. Golfers are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday, then return to Lexington Country Club on Tuesday to conclude play. Both days of the tournament begin with an 8 a.m. CT shotgun start.

The Lexington Country Club is 7,255 yards and plays as a par 71, located in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Field
A total of 17 teams will be at the Cullan Brown Collegiate. Squads competing are host Kentucky, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Memphis, Michigan, Mississippi State, NC State, North Alabama, Penn State, Toledo, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Western Kentucky. Tennessee and Vanderbilt will each be sending individuals to the tournament.
Astiazaran to Compete on World Stage
Junior Carlos Astiazaran is set to represent Mexico at this week’s 2025 World Amateur Team Championships in Singapore. The event takes place Wednesday-Saturday at the Tanah Merah Country Club. Fans can click the link here for tee times and information on the World Amateur Team Championships.
