Par 3 – Gisborne GC – on SGT | Round 1 of 2 | TBooms & Swing Yard

Yo. All right, let’s rock and roll. Let’s plan a couple quick rounds here. Start out with little par three. Oh man, that’s a terrible golf swing. Oh, look at that first shot. As per usual, coming with basically no warm-up. just got out here. But that’s how I love it. Let me just double check. What do we got? 11 normal. Normal and no elevation really. So, all right. Great. Pretty standard settings. Go ball. That landed soft. All right. 11. Okay. Looking at like 14 here. Okay, saved an ugly par. That’s how we started out. 183 179. It’s a nice smooth seven. Come back. Come back. Come back. Come back. Just missed it a little bit on the club. I scooped it. It’s not how you want to hit your shot. All right. 13. be happy with that shot there. All right, 122 up four minus 10 is leading right now. Okay. Oh man, I’m stiff. All right. That’s got to go. Oh, I seriously miscalculated that. I think I hit the wrong club. Get up. I did hit the wrong club. Oops. Thought that was down. It was up. Still would have been short probably. All right. 18. Go ball. Working hard here. Just a couple pars. I got to make this now. That feels pretty good there. 13. All right. 56 on the green. There we go. Okay. Starting to get a little loose. out of the way. 28. Oh Even when you hit a green, you can’t make it easy. [Music] Should be good there. Like six. Six or seven. Set. Oh, I whacked that one. All right. Long hole. I like it. All right. This is a five iron, sir. See what we got here. 195 be a plenty carry. A 92. Actually really like that. Should funnel down as much as I would have thought, but love that I can hit the green from 200 but not from 122. Yep. 16. There’s one. All right, we’re on the board. On the board. 106. Oh, that could be pretty good. Stay there and stop. All right, let’s see here. That enough? No, it’s not. First one’s moving pretty good. Yeah, let’s try that. Feels like I still might miss because that first first square I’m on. I like that. Only hit it like 11. Yep. Wow. Really? I have that bad of a read on it. All right. 139. 143. 40. Stay there. Ball. Pretty good shot. All right. All right. Let’s see. 25 down five. Throw it up just a little higher. Hit the 20. Oh, that’s so hard. Sit. Sit. Terrible butt. Atrocious. All right. 147. This will be a nine iron. Draw it just back into that little wind a little bit. Scooped it again. Good grief. Get there. We’ll just use the nine iron and chip 12. All right. Yuck. How we doing? All right. 136 into a breeze. Little breeze. This is gonna be a full pitching wedge. I gota I like hitting harder on things than trying to take off like a nine. It’s pretty good line. Might be a little short, but go ball should roll out just a little bit. That was pretty good. See? Um, all right. What are we at here? Probably right there. Yeah, because it’s only up one though. Let’s go one more little tap. All right. So, that’s like 134 gold ball, you idiot. Gosh dang it. Leave it short. All right. 188, but this is going to be another seven. Probably need to carry at 175. 178. The rest it’ll roll out and get there with the wind and stay there. Then I hit it off the bottom. I get 166 like an idiot. All right. Welcome to golf. 15. All right. Short game’s paying off. All right. I want60 yard carry. No, 162. Eight iron. Right at it. Oh, 158.9. Get up. Oh, terrible. Everything’s mounted on this stupid par three course. Get in. Get in. Almost. Oh. All right. Same shot. [Music] Need quite as much. Maybe 153. Oh, that’s perfect. I think. Yeah, good. Rolled out a little bit, but give yourself a chance for birdie here. Not an ideal putt, though. Not when it breaks this much. This don’t make it though, right? All right. 15 16. It’s pretty good effort. Just slightly too much speed. 126 down six into the wind. So, we’re looking at like 120. You can’t go long between clubs. Choke up a little bit on a pitching wedge. Can’t quite get my gap wedge that far. That’s what I wanted, though. Give me one. Stop right there. There’s a good swing. All right. Take care of the dirty work. Yep. All right. So, sixfooter. Slid it in. I did push that a little bit. 197. All right. Sixiron. Probably only need Yeah. 180 187. Just get it up onto the front edge. Oh, has 187, but I hooked it too much. That’s going to be bunker. Just be nice. It’s a shame. I actually hit that pretty well. I should have probably aired to the safe side, which would have been left. Not good course management on that one. All right. 14. That came out nice. 155. Kind of a crosswind. be a nine iron. [Music] Looking for 150 here. 146. Not a ton of spin. That should roll out a little bit. It’s a great line. Couple more. If I would have hit my 150, that would have been really nice. Let’s see. Is that enough? Yeah, I like it. 13 14 Just can’t score, man. Just can’t score. It feels like we need one 38. Come back. It’s funny. Then I try and play it smart. Stay out of one side and I sure enough I hit it to the other. Just can’t seem to figure it out. All right. Actually, that’s in like the little hole in my mat. I don’t want that. 13. Just kind of got to pop it up. Nice. All right. Same clubs. I just need to be able to hit them again. We’re going to a little just a hair left. middle of the green. See if you can draw it in there just a little bit and you push open your club face. Push it. There’s a reason you can’t score well. Can’t hit the ball well. 21 a little bit right that did not release at all three 3900 spin. I don’t know how that doesn’t release more than that. All right. Good par. I mean, terrible circumstances, but good par. 170 up five. Yeah. So, this is a smooth seven. Stay there, boy. Really like it. Give me a little kick left. Happy with that. and couple good shots I’ve hit. I’m just not rewarded with good putts. It would make sense to hit more good shots. So, think I miscalculated that one. I wasn’t thinking at all. Whatever. Yikes. Look at that scorecard, man. Just so bad. All right, thanks for tuning in. Till next time.
