Kai Trump made sure to launch her very first clothing line in the only way she knew how – posing for a photo shoot in front of the White House.
The 18-year-old aspiring golfer revealed the release of her very own merchandise for fans last Thursday in a special announcement on Instagram. Then she flexed one of the items at the Ryder Cup the following day as she accompanied her grandfather, U.S. President Donald, at Bethpage Black, giving an intriguing behind-the-scenes look to her fans.
According to her clothing brand’s website, Kai is selling the pricey pullover sweatshirts for $130 each, which analysts suspect is an attempt to pursue a career in influencer marketing. The teenager might be pursuing a career in golf, but she is already a certified social media sensation. However, she’s already been embroiled in a scandal over he new merch and could face the wrath of Travis Kelce.

The simple sweatshirts come in white, navy, and black, featuring a simple “KT” logo across the chest and “KAI” written across the back. There is both a women’s and a unisex line of the item.
As part of her announcement last week, Kai attached 10 photos of her posing in different variations of the sweater throughout the grounds of the White House.
In two of the photos, she can be seen holding a golf club, in a subtle nod to her other primary focus in life. With the photo shoot, however, she has been able to combine her passion for golf with her role as an influencer.

“This collection is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time, and I’m so grateful it’s finally here,” the post’s caption read. “Launching this line has been such an exciting project.
“From the quality of the fabric to the details in the designs, I wanted to create a piece that isn’t just merch but a staple you can wear anywhere. There are Clean pieces you can mix, match, and make your own. I can’t wait to see how you style them!”
Kai, however, has already faced major backlash online for her costly clothing line, with many accusing her of “grifting” like her grandfather, who reportedly rakes in millions from his Trump Store merchandise.
Perhaps worse, however, is how NFL fans have claimed that her logo bears a suspicious resemblance to the one used by Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce for his clothing line capsule with American Eagle.

Critics argue that Kai’s “KT” monogram logo, featuring a capital T tucked behind a K, looks less like “KT” and more like “TK,” which happens to be Kelce’s initials.
As expected, fans have wasted no time chiming in, with the majority quickly agreeing that the logo appeared to be a close copy of the one used by Kelce in his clothing line, “Tru Kolors.”
“Travis Kelce has long owned Tru Kolors and that brand logo for years,” one fan fumed. “Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, stole his logo idea to hawk $130 sweatshirts off taxpayer-owned property.”
