About the Course

The Tournament is named after longtime Cleveland State athletic administrator Tom Tontimonia. The tournament returns to Lakewood Country Club as its regular host site this season. Lakewood recently completed a significant renovation project which restored the layout to reflect the original design of the property by A.W Tillinghast in 1924. The renovation was led by Keith Foster, who considered every element—from bunker shapes and green complexes to fairway widths and tee placements—to reflect Tillinghast’s original intent, while incorporating modern infrastructure and agronomic practices.

Mastodon Lineup

Justin Hicks, Julian Dugan, Brock Reschly, Nick Holder and Cody Coleman will compete for the team score. Nick Bellush and AJ Agnew will play as individuals.

A New Record!

The Mastodons shot an 846 at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on September 8-9, which matched the program record for a 54-hole event.

Pretty Good!

Julian Dugan matched the program’s 36-hole record with a 135 in the first two rounds of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational in September, then finished the 54-hole event with the third-best score in Mastodon history with a 206. He is the only player in program history not named Kasey Lilly to shoot 206 or better.

Last Time Out

The Mastodons took eighth at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational with an 852, the sixth-best 54-hole score in the Mastodon record book.

Coming Up

Purdue Fort Wayne is back in action on October 13-14 with a visit to West Lafayette for the Purdue Fall Invitational.
