8 some was buying drinks at the turn when I teed off on 1.
All on the back 9:
I've already played through two 5somes, 1 6some, and a 3 some let me by at the turn.
I've caught the 8some on 16.
I can hear their music from the tee box
No ranger on this course.

This is the third weekend in a row they've allowed large groups like this to play together.
This'll be my last round here this year.

On the plus side, every group that let me play through, I striped my drive in front of them.

How drunk were you when you wrote this title?

Yes you do actually get what you pay for. It’s not a legitimate operation. This applies to anything in business

I’ve been apart of a fivesome once (I booked as a single online at pretty much the exact time a foursome booked for the same time and the system gave us both tee times for that slot) and that was my least favourite round this year. I literally wouldn’t want to be part of a sixsome or more.

What is this bacon strip of a fairway?

I’m at work in a long boring hour long conference call. I’ll trade with you!

You got some big balls, mister monster

Hit more than one shot to take more time. Do some fairway chipping while you wait.

I would rather be there than many other places.

I’ve never seen any course allow more then a 4some, does not seem fair

Who lets anything more than 4’s play together? I would’ve left and asked for my money back.

You were playing as a single on a busy course?

  12. Son_of_Morkai

But it cost you $25 for 18 holes, am I right?

  13. elalmohada26

American golf culture is wild. I can’t get my head around this being allowed to happen.

This course is closed permanently…..not current

I genuinely don’t get why people would want to play in that big of groups anyways..

Most annoying thing ever. Pace is great through 13… somehow the whole fucking course managed to show up on 14 when in ready to tee off

lmao that sure looks like El Paso Golf Club, but I think it’s missing a bunker.

Where is this course that allows large groups? I try to book a round for 6 and nowhere in DFW allows it.

At least you are there. Be thankful.

Thing is, I’ve been playing this course on Friday afternoons around noon all year. Its been super wide open.

But now that school is back in, for some reason it has gotten busy with groups like this.

Last week was a company outing. I caught them at the turn and told the office I was going home. They apologized and gave me a full 18 rain check…which is what I used today.

But all year its been super quiet and at $28 to ride 18 it isn’t bad.
